De niro , should just concentrate more on trying to get his acting mojo back , rather than all the anti trump stuff , he gets off on .
Report mouse muldoon • January 11, 2019 6:12 PM GMT
Bit late for that.
Report Dr Crippen • January 11, 2019 10:30 PM GMT
I agree with Culvin, De Niro was a good actor he should stick to doing that.
Report Culvin • January 12, 2019 2:30 AM GMT
Dr Crippen ,It's my opinion that by robert de niro , saying what he says about trump , he is in effect , giving the fat finger to democracy .The good people of America , wrightly or wrongly voted for donald trump as their man , and that's that .That's how the democratic game works , is it not ? If he wants to be a player on the american political stage , then my advice to him would be to become a politician , he could then act on that political stage , the part of a liar , and lie ,like almost all politicians f00kin do.

Culvin, this was made before the election so your post is nonsense. Everything he said about Trump was correct. The only thing wrong was the suggestion of 'punching trump in the face'. If De Niro wants to make public his opinion he has every right to do so.

What has that got to do with anything lfc1971?
Report macarony • January 12, 2019 10:42 AM GMT
In 1970 there was around 190 million people living in America today there is over 300 million, a huge increase that has come over a period of America’s industrial decline effectively burning the candle at both ends.
Trumps wall seems to me to be a sprat to catch a mackerel  he is obviously using the threat as levearidge in negotiations .
If I was Trump I would calculate how much it was costing the American tax payer these immigrants then bill their countries of origin on a monthly basis. Britain should also do the same

asparagus , I don't agree with you that , de niro has a right to make public his opinions on trump , or on any other contentious issue , for that matter . You , i , others , we can have opinions , it doesn't matter what we think , or say , nobody cares . But when a celebrity , opens their big fat gob , it matters , because , so many of us , don't think for ourselves , and we are influenced by the opinions of the special ones , the famous actors and the like .
Report Culvin • January 13, 2019 2:22 PM GMT
I'm no fan of trump , by the way , but i'm bl00dy glad he won the election .
Report moisok • January 13, 2019 4:12 PM GMT
but it is nice for him to follow the trend and affirm his position - they will love him
Report Pokermonster • January 13, 2019 4:20 PM GMT
It's my belief that all the multimillionaire Hollywood celebrities who publicly criticised Trump played a big part in him winning the election.
Report Culvin • January 13, 2019 4:25 PM GMT
YES , Pokermonster ,i couldn't agree more .
