A spokesperson from Staffordshire Police confirmed officers stopped a vehicle, and a number of people exited from the back.

A man has been arrested at the scene and is currently in police custody.

Good few on the run...

"ongoing major incident"?

No bomb, no shooting, just checking lorries ffs

Another invisible drone as pointed out above?

Or a plastic tommy toy gun?

Just picking them up to take them to their new homes.

Twitter reports 25 chaps got out the back of a lorry, amazing police response considering it takes them days to attend a burglary.

22 police cars just for that?

They didn't have the sas jumping out of helicopters as well did they?

And burglaries are considered none important now, they just ask if your insured and if you are they just ask them to claim it back

I think the drone was a convenient diversion. Where is our wall, Mr Trump?

There must have been a few hundred apprehended in the last month. Is that one percent of the number who came in or two?

Why else would they be apprehended where they were and not at their point of entry?

Tip-off or smoke & mirrors, iyo?

Sageform, Migration Watch UK estimate the number off illegal immigrants at 70,000 per annum.

and we only need 1% of that to be 'nasty' to cause bedlam in this country.

That is enough to populate a town like Shrewsbury every year.

The real extent of illegal immigration has never been , nor ever will be , fully revealed . Consequently it will never be fully addressed or any serious attempt made to reverse the problem Sad

And that's just the ill eagles.

Meanwhile the rest of us are just the tax slaves to pay for it all. Even the disable's have been forced into work to help pay for this sheet.

Why on the motorway itself? Why not on a side road or even a motorway cafe? Disruption would be minimal, if so.
By:
Baphornet
When: 10 Jan 19 13:26
why not just lift the lorry off the motorway and return it to whereoust it came
By:
nellie1970
When: 10 Jan 19 13:29
better still stop it where it comes in

'Baphornet', what a brilliant suggestion! Have not read the article - desensitised - but who were they? Iranians or Asian economic migrants?

Cling-filmed the entire lorry, put it on a top-loader, and deposit it back to country of origin (France/Macron, I hazard a guess).

last point of entry so France it is. And of course charge them the rightful amount for returning their citizens & cost of repatriation
