7.4 on imdb and 91% on Rotten Tomatoes and hardly a negative review in sight. Stan & Ollie is most definitely on my list of films to see.

Loved L&H can't understand why there not on TV anymore, maybe theres a black kid in the background cleaning shoes, something which would make the snowflakes scream and protest, on behalf of Steven K Amos and Lennie Henry

Some of L&H's short films have been turning up just lately on the worthy 'Talking Pictures' channel.

Alas this channel often still feels the need to apologise in advance of films for content that might 'offend' a human tragedy somewhere on Planet Progressive.

They're one of my fav's and there are plenty of box sets on Amazon that cost little more than a cinema ticket

Coogan's the bloke who played that Norwich DJ, aye?  Wasn't overly keen on that but he looks okay here.  Never heard of Reilly.

he is a chalk & cheese comic, trilby. He reminds me of Tony Hancock; there is that underlying sense of "why do i bother" & superiority about him. Also; does he ever truly smile?

Funniest thing he's done was Question Time, his inability to say what he meant without using the Islamic word was car crash stuff. They should stick to their proper jobs.

The guy who plays Oliver Hardy is a ringer for him in real life , going tomorrow night looking forward to it

Laurel and Hardy , i've loved them since i was a kid and i'll always , love them .

Quite surprised some here have never heard of John C Reilly. I guess I just much watch plenty of drama. He's been around for the last 20 years. Go and see the film. It is a wonderful couple of hours. Certainly one of the best I've seen over the last year or so. Hope we see more of L & H back on mainstream TV now.

L&H are not very inclusive, ie two white blokes, one needs to change sex or sexuality for the BBC to show them.

The BBC are working on a new L&H film, where Laurel is played by Stephen K Amos and Hardy is played by Alan Carr

John C Reilly excellent as Mike Honcho.

I could well imagine the beeb doing something like that , dambuster . I cannot watch the bbc , i cannot watch it .

Pre-book, sold out earlier when i went.

My grandad met them when he worked at the Mayfair hotel - had autographs of them and lots of other stars of the time. Sadly they're long gone. I'm looking forward to watching this, especially as a Coogan fan.

My uncle recalled having  a drink with them in a pub in Stepney one night, Oliver Hardy was chatting up Doris Hare from On The Buses.

i laughed,i cried what a enjoyable film.

steve coogan was good as stan laurel but thought john c reilly was brilliant as oliver hardy.

mrs knot as no interest in L&H give it 8/10 and did not fall asleep which is a first.

highly reccomend for a nice few hours out.

A wonderful film, very poignant, 9/10. Go see it

AS SOMEONE WHOS BEEN BROUGHT UP ON LAUREL AND HARDY AND WATCHED IT ON MY I PAD WITH MY TEN YEAR OLD GRANDSON .WE BOTH WENT TO SEE IT ON. MONDAY NIGHT AS MY DAUGHTER BOUGHT US TICKETS BECAUSE MY GRANDSON SAID HE WANTED TO SEE IT WITH ME.I ABSOLUTLY LOVED IT AND SO DID HE .I REALLY ENJOYED IT AND WE BOTH ATE ALL THE TOFFEES AND POPCORN AND DRINKS AND HAD A WONDERFUL TIME .I DONT ENJO MANY NEW FILMS BUT I WAS OVER THE TOP WITH THIS ONE VERY SENTIMENTAL AND I THINK I WENT OVER THE TOP BECAUSE IVE ALWAYS LOVED THEM AND THERE CLEAN FAMILY HUMOUR IN THE PAST

Sister and family went yesterday, reported it was brilliant.

Still yet to see it. Saw Glass this week. Disappointing..

Was looking forward to that final instalment Injera. Was a little surprised when I heard the other two were linked, although Bruce did give it away at the end

Having watched Split today ,I am not looking forward to Glass ......it was rubbish.

James McAvoy was very impressive in Glass but apart from him I thought it was all a bit odd.

That's Shyamalan for you. Some great movies behind him and some really weird ones, like 'The Village' for example

Aspro - I'll admit it's not a genre I usually go for so don't take my word for it.

To be fair, my daughter recommended 'Split' and I'd already seen 'Unbreakable' but being a trilogy I will watch the final one regardless... sucked in I guess

I try to get into a director's head. If I start to say 'why didn't you do it differently?' then there's a problem.

Went to see the Stan & Ollie film last week and i must say i found it a bit disappointing..6/10 for me.
