In a tie in with the Daniel Blake thread on here , i was in the job centre about 3 years ago and i got talking with a lad who told me his benefits were about to be sanctioned because he refused to jump through various job hunting hoops . We talked about a few other things , one very interesting one being that his aunty became the first solo singer to have a number one in the UK singles chart . He told me his aunty's name was Lita Roza and the song she had the number one with was , "How Much Is That Doggie In The Window" .I just love music and i have a love for it from every decade .

According to this link, I'm correct. The article also btw gives up the name of '1999' by Prince as a three time chart entry.
