The police took HOURS to issue a description of ANY kind, despite plenty of eye witness evidence. They thus allow him to run amok for hours, and for all they knew putting lives in massive danger. In the meantime he had the opportunity to meet with someone who has subsequently been arrested with 'assisting an offender'.
It's another example of extraordinarily misplaced police priorities. The criminal's freedom to commit carnage was placed AHEAD of the public's safety, for which there must be a full and frank explanation. If Flabbott is ANY sort of Shadow Home Secretary, this must be top of her agenda. The police are quick enough the it comes to Tweeting and/or creating website postings of them attending Gay Pride and LGBQTUVWXYZ type events, posing for ludicrous photos which completely undermine their credibility. Why are they so afraid of issuing prompt and accurate descriptions of dangerous criminals? |

Bl oody hell are you suggesting that the police should issue a description saying that the murderer on the loose is actually BLACK....you can't do that in this country;it's totally unacceptable. For god's sake if you'd done that straight away at Clandon someone might have reported seeing him and telling the police which way he went.

About 15 years ago I was a witness to a robbery-in-progress at a local petrol pump just after I pulled up; the Securicor bloke was coshed as he walked round the left rear of his van towards the entrance - it was so surreal. I dialled 999, but at no time was I asked if the robber was black; the lady asked many questions eg their attire; any accomplice; vehicle and where they headed off? But at no time did she ask if the robber was black; it would not have helped as he was wearing a balaclava. But CID did when they interviewed me later back at the petrol.
I think the authorities will not specify in public the colour or ethnicity of the perpetrator. |

A man has been charged with murder after a father was stabbed to death in front of his son on a train.
Darren Pencille, 35, of Willbury Road, Farnham, is accused of killing Lee Pomeroy, 51, on a Guildford to London train on Friday. Chelsea Mitchell, 27, also of Willbury Road, has been charged with assisting an offender. Both have been remanded in custody to appear at Staines Magistrates' Court on Monday. |
