I ALWAYS REMEMBER , the time when i was aged 12 and my parents informed me that they had applied to emigrate to Australia . It came completely out of the blue . The thought of emigrating at that time , both excited and terrified me , 3 months or so later that application fell through , so that was the end of that , but for those 90 days , it was a very strange time , indeed . Perth was to be the city we were going to .

ON MANY FUTURE OCCASIONS , i wished we had gone .I always like Oz to beat England at the cricket , by the way .

I don't think that will be happening for a very long time unfortunately.

I have never been to Perth but I believe there are a lot of English people there
