do you like reading, Culvin? If so try and get Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ by Lew Wallace. He was a General in the American Civil War & wrote this book some 15 years after that war ended. It stayed top of the best sellers list for over 50 years until Gone with the Wind appeared. Not every best seller translates to the screen; but these two monsters of the literary world did. Gone with the Wind won 8 Oscars & Ben Hur 11. there was an earlier version of Ben Hur made in the 20s that was excellent as well. Two epics of the movie industry that will forever adorn the magic world of cinema

Talking of Mr Wooden, he 1st sprang to 'fame' in Spielbergs Empire of the Sun; nothing much has changed since as he was very pinochioish in that role as well |

King Of Kings was a terrific biblical epic. Directed by Nicholas Ray and starring Jeffrey Hunter (Capt Christopher Pike in the Star Trek pilot) as Jesus. He died following a stroke in 1966 aged just 42.
