Mail - alison's snack bar job - nasty nasty Mail
Report tictacman1 • December 31, 2018 11:41 PM GMT
Three people - including a police officer - have been stabbed by a man wielding a knife at Manchester Victoria railway station.

A man and woman were taken to hospital with knife injuries after the attack at about 20:50 GMT, British Transport Police (BTP) said. Their conditions are not known.

It said one of its officers suffered a stab wound to the shoulder.

A man has been arrested and the station is shut.

"I looked down and saw he had a kitchen knife with a black handle with a good, 12in blade. It was just fear, pure fear."

Mr Clack said he saw the attacked man - who he described as in his 60s - and the woman, who had been with him, "walk out of the station" with emergency crews.

He said police used pepper spray and a Taser on the detained man, who he said was "resisting arrest".

He said he saw "six or seven" officers on top of the man, who he described as "very skittish".

"He was very aggressive and very intent on causing more harm than he actually did," he said.

The stabbing of three people - including a police officer - at Manchester Victoria station on New Year's Eve is being treated as a terror related incident, police have confirmed.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Two knives were recovered at the scene and a property is being searched in the Cheetham Hill area.
Report Ibrahima Sonko • January 1, 2019 1:51 PM GMT
It was reported that the assailant quoted something at the time of the incident, yet it takes 16hrs to admit it, who does this help, it certainly doesnt help the police officers who trying to their job.

Im afraid this kind  of event is never going to stop  now,it is only going to get worse, its how people come together to try to cut down these problems, maybe we should follow Camerons directions when  he said we should Hug a Hoodie, maybe we should all Hug a Terrorist and give them all the help they need, after all they are Brainwashed and need our help....NO It is us the law abiding  people of this country who need the hugs and reassurance,no more media bias, no more lies, say it as it is,come down hard on these people,i know the left like to give lots of hugs well stop giving them to the wrong people, surely surely surely you must come to your sences one day.

My thread on this same subject (the Manchester Victoria Station Islamic Terror Attack) has, ridiculously, been deleted.

I even received an email to notify me, which is at least an improvement on the unexplained deletion of three threads I started in 2017 about the modernised version of Thomas The Tank Engine.

The email explains (?) to me that my thread is "not acceptable". The Forum has been made available to allow customers to communicate with each other, to exchange ideas and discuss topical issues etc.

If the latest terror attack in Manchester isn't a topical issue, what is?

Presumably by this logic, if a War breaks out in Europe, or maybe America experiences another 9/11 attack,  such matters are also not appropriate for discussion here?
Report moisok • January 3, 2019 9:10 PM GMT

The suspect, who is being detained under the Mental Health Act, is now in a secure medical facility, Greater Manchester Police said. Police are confident the man acted alone in "the final stages of the attack," they said.
