Speech and Debate on Immigration, Swedish Parliament.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqBU5orezB8

The PC mob try to gang up on the Swedish Farage, and one by one he takes them on, beating them hands down (they have no answer).
The scary thing is this was 5 years ago, and things are now even worse for the Swedes.

Well I don't think people in any country, really like immigration.

It is only our politicians who want it.

Which of course was shown when people voted for Brexit, and probably the reason people voted for Trump in America.

Immigration worked well in this country in the 50s, 60s 70s and 80s.
People came and generally integrated well but thereafter …. Sad

Well did it Akabula?

We originally had a lot of immigration from the British Commonwealth.

The EU migration came later...mainly after 2002.

The trouble is if anyone speaks out against it, they are immediately compared to Adolf Hitler.

I thought that was going a bit far myself.

People were trying to say they felt uncomfortable with so many, they were not asking we reopen concentration camps.

And there we have it , a common denominator . A catalyst for integration , maybe ?

And now we have this lot . Absolutely nothing in common so no reason for them to even attempt to integrate . Totally different mindset and agenda from the start !

A good speech. Sad to see how things have changed. But he should also have pointed out the alternative, how exactly he thinks he can sustain a welfare state without importing younger people to fund the system? In germany for example, there are 3 working people for every pensioner. In 20 years, there will be one. That is a catalyst for disaster. These countries wouldn't have been able to susain themselves and would easily have been taken over. That's exactly what is happening now. But at least it is being taken over by its own politicians, not someone else. Europe was always going down imo.

Controlled or skilled immigration may sound like a good solution but that's exactly what we have had in both Germany and UK since the 60s when we imported the turks and UK imported subcontinent people. If that had worked, we'd be seeing the benefits now, but we aren't. We are in a bigger hole considering our demographic situation. And we are filling that hole with the new imports. By the way, is there any other solution to this issue other than importing younger skilled workers?

Some may point out that fertility rates are increasing and that Germany for instance has had record levels of fertility rate in the last 50 years. THis is indeed true but these levels are measured considering women with German citizenship. And those aren't always necessarily native Germans. Recent immigration wave has stolen the show but even in the 90s, immigrants were responsible for 35% of the population growth in UK and Germany(40% for sweden)(Even if those immigrants aren't citizens today, their kids most definitely are). Considering the fact that the native population has had lower fertility rates that have only been offset by immigrant fertility rates(Italy for example), my guess is these numbers have only increased. On top of that, you can add the continued illegal immigration and the massive illegal immigration of 2015-17. Where do you think the native fertility rate stands compared to that of the 'immigrants'?

The EU politicians imo see where the future is headed, and its not one with the native population in it. They are just interested in ruling people, they don't give a fk how these people look like. Its only you and me that worry about it, because we are the ones that have to live with them, not the poiticians. It has always been like this. Till now it worked in your favor. From now on it won't.

detraveller - you raise an important point.  Low birth rates are used by Merkel etc for saying we need immigrants. It's a pretty poor argument or should I say a lie.

Hungary came up with their  “Family Housing Allowance Program,” to encourage local people into marriage and to have more kids.

'In 2015, the government of Hungary announced a major new policy: families would be given generous subsidies to buy or build new homes, and the subsidies would scale up based on their marital status and the number of children they had.' https://ifstudies.org/blog/is-hungary-experiencing-a-policy-induced-baby-boom

The idea you have to bring people in to your nation instead of encouraging your own people to have more children is garbage and Merkel et al know it.

Feminism in the West doesn not help either. Women more and more defined by theor job not by their vital role as Mothers. Also too abortion.

On reflection I think you are right Akabula

The first waves were from Pakistan and West Indies.
Of course Pakistan were also Muslims, that is why their country was created, but nobody really noticed their religion

Everything was about colour and them taking our jobs and people not wanting them to live near them, which made the problem worse
because it created ghettos.

It has got a lot worse. I can see a few reasons why.

It is our governments who have done this to us,
Labour have encouraged immigration because immigrants vote for them.
Tories, slightly less culpable, like the idea of cheap labour coming in to make us competitive and keep wage costs down.

Apart from Nigel Farage...who is now gone
I fear our governments still want immigrants at heart.

Parties who tried to campaign against immigration were always branded Nazis, Fascists and extremists by our main
parties to ensure nobody voted for them

The Media of all types which influences us greatly has always been on the side of immigration.

Nigel Farage's skill was creating an anti immigration party which could not be labelled extremist.

His pressure caused Cameron to panic and offer us a referendum

At last the people spoke, we don't like immigration.

Another issue here I think is, that our society has changed since these immigrants arrived 1950 - on.

This causes problems particularly with the Muslims.

They do everything by the book, as Moisock frequently points out, which was probably quite normal everywhere in circa 700 AD when it

was written

Particularly the way women were treated everywhere, give or take a bit.

But we have given women a lot more freedom since then, we try to remove differences between men and women in our society.

Because Muslims live by the book they find this very hard.

This rightly angers us because our men do like to see themselves as gallant protectors as women, which is the way

I we should really.

Although I do not like to see too much competition between men and women myself, as I fear it will affect males adversely

we will either become too violent or just the opposite too gay, men even want to be womenShocked, not ideal.

Perhaps try to look at the good sides of each others culture perhaps, going to be difficult I can see that

You are right Dambuster people should not be blown up in the cause of religion...well civilians anyway.

Agreed saddo - the Hungarians have been wise to hang onto their culture. So they can preserve it via incentives to the populace to breed more.

Here it's too late. Neither us not the Swedes were ever asked if we wanted our countries to become like North Africa and the Middle East....

Women today want a career and not have kids till later in life(freezing eggs)
So it is the straying from the traditional family network of the past
Also the Young also want to live life and excess to the internet swipe right/left means
they never go out to meet a long term partner as in the past.

I listened to most of what you posted Bigmo

This women was brought up with very loose Islamic values by a kindly father.

She then married another Muslim and was subjected to the full Muslim experience

One observation I have is where is the LAW in this since some of her experiences struck me as illegal?

In this country CIVIL LAW takes precedence over RELIGIOUS LAW, remember Thomas Beckett.

Women can live the traditional Islamic female role but only by choice, soon do choose this.

Personally I prefer the loose Islamic values as with all religious values. Keep to the spirit not the letter.

We must apply our civil law better, this rules all.

ps

I am sure, or at least hope not all Muslims are quite as bad as this women's husband appeared to be.

I am sure they are not, or is it just wistful thinking????
