I suspect they book her because they know she annoys so many people.

'Left-wing commentator Yasmin Alibhai-Brown once proclaimed that "tax-paying immigrants" keep "indolent British scroungers on their couches drinking beer and watching TV".
Not only is this kind of abuse offensive, but it is utterly unsupported by the facts. According to the latest report from the Office for National Statistics, just 38 percent of migrants who settled here in the last year were actually looking for work. Another recent official study showed that the employment rate for non-EU migrants is 63.6 percent, compared with 75.3 percent for British people, thereby demolishing all the propaganda about native laziness.' |

she was on breakfast telly this morning yapping about plastic. I very nearly brought my cornflakes back through my sphincter
By:
Turn yer telly off for a bit.

Guess who her favourite politician is?
Keith Vaz. No surprise there then. |
By:
would he give her a good line or two ho ho
By:
A difficult woman to ignore... but well worth the effort.
By:
i fear for her health when she disagrees with someone (nearly every appearance) She has the diplomacy of a saltwater crocodile
By:
Keith Vaz has form the length of a heavy boxer's hand. His 'wikipedia' page has more iffy(s) than accolades; a master of 1/2 truths' money talks, etc. But these were not his downfall...shenanigans with rent boys crucified him politically for life. Another self-serving former MP who thought the Law could not touch.
Good Riddance! |

By:
quite extraordinary that he was voted onto the Justice Select Committee in 2016.
By:
He was no outstanding solicitor either, but political correctness ran amok (again) to be on the panel of the JSC.
By:
a good job there was no Senate Judiciary Committee in sitting on his appointment, although i seem to recall his appointment was opposed in Parliament?

I think the BBC have a penchant for political journos from Oxbridge even if they tend to spout carp most of the time. And YAB is one such journo who fits the bill, and also politically correct for the BBC despite her inadequacy.
By:
this was Sky, impossible123; but i certainly get your drift. Maybe she will be on The Papers later?
By:
I think she's a resident on the panel for The Papers on BBC 1 at 23:30 each evening. She seems to be on every time I tune in.
By:
there's some really good journos & economic people who can't get a gig because of the likes of her. Which makes seeing her face all the more annoying
By:
The Papers it is!

Bap,
Do you remember this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSRSypmC3OY |

By:
you know what EK; I've never seen that before. I remember some MP going apeshit about it, but for some reason i never caught up with it so thanks for that. I now despise that woman with all my fibre. Cathy Newman (who is a 1st class wazzock) should have been fired instantly for loading the gun for Jasmine Alibaba. Just about the most one-sided assault i've seen on a political discussion

The Papers will be on in a moment. Will YAB be on, Baphornet?

Ah yes, or should I say Yas

Hurrah, she's not. Hopefully the Beeb has got the message (finally).

Apparently Owen Jones, who competes with her as a top male (biologically) candidate for being one of the most obnoxious and clueless leftist moron to walk the planet, is throwing another public hissy fit, this time because some protestors said "bad words" about him...... Waaa didddummmssss..

Owen Jones is another product of Oxford Uni. Why do the media repeatedly staff their positions with products mainly from either Oxford or Cambridge? These graduates are so one dimensional, and repetitive. A bit more diversity and equality, please.
By:
Buller man?
By:
she's on The Papers; & Newman is on Sky. Do they want to finish us off before tomorrows vote
By:
Head and shoulders above Owen Jones in the annoying stakes.
By:
her oppo on the other side, Newman is the tory version of Jones. Thinks he knows everything & interrupts everyone to let them know he does (in their minds)
