his money under his mattress

yes I heard about that..but lovely man...much missed

I took my kids to see the legend that was Mr Dodd a few years ago.

He was clearly unwell,struggling badly with a cough.
It of course did not stop this professional from completing the marathon gig.
He stopped for the half time interval at 10PM.

Great comedian, knocks spots off these so called modern comedians.

Not really my kind of humour, took the missus to see him down here in Worthing. It was about three hours of fun packed into five mind you as I said to my other half. I'm glad I saw him live as whether your taste or not, he was a comedy legend

I never saw Doddy live, mores the pity as I'm certain I would have enjoyed it if I had. He certainly was a one off and a very funny man.

I LOVED HIM SEEN HIM AT LEAST SIX TIMES A TRUE LEGEND COMEDIAN .DIDNT HAVE TO SWEAR OR TALK FILTH TO GET A LAUGH JUST A VERY FINE COMEDIAN WHO WAS VERY FUNNY .I LOVED HIM WALKING ACROSS THE STAGE BANGING HIS BIG BASE DRUM
