Odd that we haven't seen this reported?!

General Antoine Martinez has written the letter signed by ten other generals, an admiral and colonel, and also includes former French Minister of Defense Charles Millon.

They’ve given strong warning that Macron’s signing the U.N. Global Migration Pact strips France of even more sovereignty providing an additional reason for “an already battered people” to “revolt”.

The highly decorated military co-signees assert that the beleaguered Macron is “guilty of a denial of democracy or treason against the nation” for signing the migration pact without putting it to the people.

https://voiceofeurope.com/2018/12/macron-accused-of-treason-by-french-generals-for-signing-un-migration-pact/

Oh and the Belgium PM has resigned on the same issue... https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/dec/18/belgian-pm-charles-michel-resigns-no-confidence-motion

Belgium’s government of four years has fallen on the issue of migration after the country’s parliament rejected an appeal from prime minister, Charles Michel, for its support for a minority administration.

The people of Europe have had more than enough of immigration. Those who caused the problem cannot be trusted to undo their damage, it needs new faces.
Report UBLE/REGY December 25, 2018 6:51 PM GMT
I remember what happened the last time the French Revolted!

Macron should be feeling his neck uneasily.

I disagree with whole principle of immigration. I think countries have a right to their borders and are allowed to defend them

whether it be against invders or immigrations.
Report UBLE/REGY December 25, 2018 6:54 PM GMT
A small number of immigrations can benefit us, but I believe a lot harm us.

People should be helped in their own country, who must take responsibility for their own populations.

A few exceptions can be made on compassionate grounds but very few.

If I was one of his advisers (Macron) I'd be advising for him and his family to quietly get out the country before its to late

Forget resigning just go would be my advice

Not going to end well, and these generals no they have zero chance if it ever kicked off so they are choosing their side accordingly

As I've said before in regards to the police they might as well go home, they wont last 5 minutes if they hit the bee hive anyway

The army are easily dealt with as well, once you target loved one's they will put the guns down, get the uniform off and quickly get out of harms way

They literally don't realise how vulnerable they really are at this point, they are upsetting the wrong people

Whatever is brewing in France, sounds like trouble, as the mainstream media aren't really covering it. They certainly don't want people to be talking about this issue. Same for Belgium.

I remember saying on this forum in 2016 that one day people will be happy to pick up weapons to fight these 'refugees' on their own turf. And the government will be happy to supply them with the weapons. I think we are slowly getting to that point. The politicians will win. The local public in Europe is getting weaker and weaker everyday. People still don't realize the severity of the demographic issues. The politicians are just adjusting to a reality that the public will probably never be able to accept.

Bullseye.

We're used to selective reporting but this one takes the biscuit. Generals turning on their govt is as big as it gets. Throw in Mr Macron being Mr EU and Belgium's (EU HQ..Brussels) PM quitting and this just gets even bigger.

We're used to selective reporting but this one takes the biscuit. Generals turning on their govt is as big as it gets.

It's a bunch of retired army folks, with the leader being an active alt-right writer, Millon got the Front National to thank for his political career, Tauzin a failed presidential candidate that loves himself some Russia (why is this always the case with these people?). Oh, your whole uncensored truth website didn't tell you that when they bullshitted and lied to you on what the pact is actually about and contains? Oh blimey...
Report Injera December 26, 2018 2:57 PM GMT
Are you THAT naive to think the UN and the EU will protect national identity?!!!
Report edy December 26, 2018 3:20 PM GMT
The UN, probably not. The heads of government in the EU, sure.

More importantly, I don't believe every obvious bullshit about freely available documents from a bunch of far-right politicians that want to proliferate their careers either. You seem naive enough to readily do so though.

Take Belgium that you always mention. The N-VA was for the pact. Then they noticed it would serve them better to lie to their voters  about the pact and withdraw support and endanger (&and in the end destroy) the coalition in order to proliferate themselves on a bunch of nonsense, and they know it.

Similar story with Austria. Sebastian Kurz, then foreign secretary, and his ministry played a major role in negotiating the friggin' thing. Even the current foreign secretary, Karin Kneissl (who was nominated by the FPÖ and invited Putin to her wedding...seriously, what's up with alt-right figures and their sheer endless love affair with Putin? Gotta be the funding) wanted to sign it, but the party chief Strache went against her. The misinformation campaign by the Identitarians and whatnot was probably deemed too dangerous to ignore and there were votes to gain (or to lose).
Report edy December 26, 2018 3:39 PM GMT
Fun side note on Austria btw.: In return for the no on the migration pact, Kurz demanded that the FPÖ support his cutting down of the welfare state (for real Austrians!!!!!!!!). Cool maneuver that. Negotiate a pact and then use someone else's misinformation campaign to get your coalition partner to agree to you screwing over the poorest.
Report edy December 26, 2018 3:42 PM GMT
Though it won't actually hit the poorest that bad. It will hit the ones above them, the middle classes and such, that will be dispossessed if their lives hit unfortunate periods.
