even though im up north and southern comics aren't normally my fav hes been very funny this week on ch 4

let's be honest, the only thing funny about northern comics are their accents, if they didn't have their strange bouncy dialects what they're actually saying wouldn't sound funny at all imo.

bob mortimor, no chance, pulls funny faces that's about it, even Peter Kay is said to have robbed lots of northern comics of their work as passed it off as his own.

Micky's brilliant. Funny as fk, his old stuff before he made the bigtime is even better.
Was on a few live at the apollos years back and the comedy store.

Kevin Bridges still the number 1 though.

I've been watching Flanagan this week and he's quite good. 90% of his material seems to be about his wife, who I'm surprised stays with him :)

If you want to see "not funny" watch the Mash Report. Which has thankfully finished it's run but despite the fact it's as funny as a bucket of sick mixed with dead kittens, as it's a PC box ticking 10 left wing anti Brexit anti Tory assault on the senses, each sanctimonius rant accompanied with canned laughter, I'm sure the BBC "Comedy" department will be signing them up at double wages for another run...

Bob mortimer on Would I lie to you gets every other comedian on the panels plus the discerning audience creased up. Not funny????

canned laughter from the audience, comedians all laugh at each others jokes, even the unfunny one on mock the week for years, who then got his own tv show.

it was a superb cockney accent for someone with a strong Scottish accent as well
