It is nearly impossible to break the two party system

The best a third party can do is to hope for a share of government if election is very close, and they are needed

for a majority.

Their main policy get us out of the EU is now finished, we are coming out.

So they must campaign for something else.

Unless parliament fail to  agree an exit deal with the EU, so we stay in.

Farage can then rejoin UKIP to campaign to get us out again.

What could possibly go wrong the dislking muslims policy,you do realize the views on here represent about 10% of the population as opposed to the 90% on here..laughable stuff..

Some are less forthcoming with their views and most just want equality for all nothing hidden because of race or religion.
Whether it's Catholic paedo priests,muslim paedo rape gangs,celebrity paedo abusers or whatever all should be dealt with the same and they clearly aren't,many people are too scared to tell the truth and plenty let personal biases cloud their judgement.

Nobody who believes in religious fiction should get special treatment and respect when children get teased in the playground at 7 years of age for believing in Santa.

Actually, being serious, I think that's his best chance of having further influence to protect the love of his life.

Would be more or less following Powell,who joined the then dominant Ulster Unionists and got a seat in Northern Ireland. There are some parallels between the two but Powell was probably a more heavyweight figure,having been a Cabinet Minister and competitor for the Tory leadership.

There's a new ukip-like party on the go. A rather agitated man said he'd just started it on QT last week. "The Popular Anti-EU Front" or something.

Batten is very popular with grass roots because he understands the greater threat.

To criticise him for being obsessed with Islam is ignorant. I would feel safer if more people were concerned about the spread of Islam.

Batten is turning UKIP into more of a street / demo /march entity rather than seeking power through the ballot box.

Quite correctly (IMO) Farage wants to distance himself from that approach with its thuggish overtones.

To what end?

You're tempted to say 'who cares' when it comes to Our Nige. Arguably he was largely responsible for unseating a UK Prime Minister, which is a highpoint of any career but other than that he's been nowhere near wielding any real power (a bogeyman for Remainiacs doesn't count)

Also largely responsible for UK leaving EU...if and when it comes about.
