Only found out today that Gmail has a confidential mode that allows emails to diapers from a recipients inbox after a defined time, default 1 week. I’ve been applying for jobs and sending my CV using Gmail. Not the best is it!
Surprised that confidential mode is defaulted as on.

I hadn't heard of this before but just did a quick bit of investigating.

From what I can see, any emails that you send will only expire at the set time if you explicitly set that email to do so. ie you have to set each specific e-mail to expire as you write it.

That's how I understand it anyway.
