i'm too old now ,as a child wanted a raleigh rebel twist grip gear changer bike (!) but in the 70s/ 80s had a gold falcon 10 speed ..... always wanted a orange holdsworth equipe racer with campagnolo gears ...then fancied a lovely bianchi classic light blue one ...now have , under wraps , in the garden a mountain bike / cross that i should clean up and get going...nice post .

I'm wheely sure you spoke about this before?

Ahh the raleigh chopper. If ever you were to design a bike designed to mangle a boys bits if he slides forward off the seat, that was the one.

Would that gearstick / bollock destroyer even get past elf and safety now?
