Looks like a war zone. It's our closest European neighbour, just across the channel.

But Macron is a a bit of a luvvie for the leftie BBC etc. Pro EU, top guy. So not being covered on the news?

Imagine for one SECOND that the same riots were happening in Washington or New York against Trump, on the other side of the world?
How much coverage do you think the BBC etc would give it? Ahh it's FINALLY being covered now. Sods law! Got a little story on the main news.

But my point stands. Imagine anti Trump protests like that over there and how it would be personalised etc.

... Weren't we about to get rid of our Boris Cannons for scrap or a museum? Can't we donate them? :)

There was a program a while ago about how Paris was knocked down and re designed so that troublemakers couldn't blockade it and set up sweeping fields of fire along the main streets etc. Maybe time to put that into effect?!LaughWhoops

Strange how the media are saying these protests are an angry "forgotten middle class angry at tax rises".

Well the photos I'm seeing of young guys of all ethnicities and white people with dreadlocks don't look like an "angry middle class annoyed at diesel prices" to me!

I watched the main news and it was way down the list of things to cover, and I'm damned sure my point stands. The BBC has given more and bigger coverage to a Trump tweet than that, and you can be damned sure if there were anti trump riots in Washington they'd be gloating all over it in a long premium segment, with J Sopel barely able to speak due to blood loss to the anti trump gland in his pants.

Your own link shows that your "lowest in decades" statement was untrue.

Perhaps you could just from now on make a statement and then post right after saying that you were lying again, to save the rest of us from having to do it.

But isn't this a small number of people protesting making lots of bonfires and plenty of noise. Getting lots of attention and the press playing on it.  We know how a few can cause a lot of disturbance in a relatively peaceful open society and they take advantage of it.

Report SontaranStratagem December 6, 2018 4:12 PM GMT
Saddo

They are making an EU army because they are made of different nationality personal? like you'll have the Italian and Brits over there?, meaning its harder to get back at them

By putting foreign personal there there's no way to get back at them in terms of targeting family members etc

They know people have cottoned on to their disgusting agendas and they still try to quell it with force Crazy

The government is exposed, it has zero chance of victory no matter how many foot soldiers they stick on the streets ffs.

But its one desperate pathetic last ditch attempt to hold onto their power
