I hope not akabula...from tomorrow there won't be a kid who is not being bullied.
Their parent will tell them as they leave for school...you make sure you are bullied today, we need the money. I should not keep joking about this but bullying is a perennial problem. Sometimes children have to be moved for their own protection, it depends on the circumstances. I have never heard of a collection before that is new? |

Scandi.. you say you dont propose an... Open Door Policy... so if 20 boats start turning up everyweek .. how long will you put up with it ? and how can you put a limit on it without getting called a RACIST..your move brother

What about the parent of Charlie Gard who raised funds of £1.3 million which was never used as unfortnantly he died, they wanted to raise the money to cover medical costs but they are far from the only family in the country that have children who require huge sums to look after very disabled children and that includes migrant children. They were white, don't remember the same outcry on the forum then.

who is interested in the poor put down individuals who the political classes are interested, unless they can make
a cause celebre out of it - sorry but I just do not swallow the msm hysteria and set up stories to pursue ones cause and position politically. |
|
By:
FFS Scandi surely you can see that there is no comparison between these 2 things.
I would have thought that the money raised for baby Charlie would have been refunded. |
|
By:
refunded to 88 thousands contributors ?
think they talked about a foundation, but there's no telling how much they have or haven't kept Plenty of parents with kids with not much chance of a great life due to severe disability, this was in the media, money poured it. I don't begrudge them it at all, just making the case that these were two white working class parents who were being seen to be hard done by the professional, middle class medics and authorities - and the media tried to drum up support for them. Of course the actual truth was the poor child was brain dead and had zero chance of any chance of a quality of life. |

If you are different at school a child can be bulled.
Was it all the children or just one attacker? The attacker who did the waterboarding(a jug of water?) is being prosecuted, that is fine with me. Are we making a racial mountain out of a molehill.? Children are much influenced by what goes in the adult world, do not forget this. I will not justify bullying, but I think this incident may be being used and exaggerated, for political purposes |

you need to embrace - you lot are just simply RAY CYSTS - I nose
|
|
By:
FWIW Scandi I didn't agree with them as the medical evidence seemed compelling although I could understand their clutching at any ray of hope.
Again I say though that the 2 incidents are poles apart. |

BTW shame on them if they've kept any of the donations.

Tommy Robinson has said his piece partly due to his kids' very recent experience. Both have been bullied and threatened with death at school due to their Father's politics.
They have been terrified to attend and TR has had to have meetings with parents of the bullies involved. |

yaxley lennon made wild accusations about the lad being bullied

All bullying is shameful but only certain cases are newsworthy. The public will soon resent the relentless messaging, I think they are almost there now tbf.

All forms of bullying is bad especially on kids by their own parents and at school; it happens at work too, and socially. Notwithstanding, it is never a bad thing for any media to bring this into the attention of the public - deemed politically correct or not; it is informative and educational. And any donation towards the victim is appreciated by the victim and those concerned eg associated entities/societies, and ought not to be discouraged, I firmly believe, if donation is not a prerequisite or forced upon them - donors must have the right to choose, and must not be dictated or influenced by opinions elsewhere.
Bullying of children and of any kind is cruel and unjustified, and no reason/excuse must be used for it happening. |

Bullying of children and of any kind is cruel and unjustified, and no reason/excuse must be used for it happening. Unfortunately the media attention, exaggerations and subsequent furore has resulted in a person who hasn't even appeared in court/youth justice system and his family having to be moved to a secure location by police due to the death threats he has received after people have been breaking the law by naming him and posting his address online. Congratulations to our wonderful media. Complete ignorance as usual by people like Porcupine etc. to pretend this story is one of simple bullying and that there are no other related issues worth discussion. |
|
By:
Some idiots giving him death threats is not the fault of the media reporting it, it's the fault of the idiots giving him death threats. Jesus, whatever happened to personal responsibility? Weird how some people though are feeling more sorry for the bully rather than his victim.
|
|
By:
I think in this case the media have a responsibility and ought to have made sure how this news was communicated and reported to the public eg with names and locations of parties concerned withheld and identity pixelated.
|
|
By:
I never said it was there fault. They have clearly went beyond simply reporting on the facts though and created a hysteria surrounding the case by making it a race issue and using emotive phrases like "torture" and "waterboarding" when the person hasn't even been prosecuted. Clearly there is more to this story to discuss than simply a case of bullying.
Totally agree about personal responsibility. Again though it's relevant to the story given many in the media and elsewhere are trying to suggest Robinson is partially responsible for the bullying because the bully posted about him on facebook. |
|
By:
it was the media who used the word waterboarding,if that was 2 white lads fighting he,d have thrown water over him, only the lad no,s if was interpretating a waterboard act,

To be honest I haven't paid a great deal of attention to the story. Saw the video, felt the usual human response of pity and anger but haven't trailed it. Just the usual amusement and dismay at some people being outraged by the coverage.
It seems very highly likely there's a racial element behind it. However, in my experience the bully is probably just a massive pr!ck and the fact that the lad is from somewhere else is merely just an excuse. He'd probably still be a bully if he'd never seen a TR video, he'd just bully some other poor innocent kid. Needs to be straightened out as it's odds on he's a wife beater in years to come otherwise. |
|
By:

The police have had to continually warn the media not to post videos of the incident as proceedings have been active for weeks. Were you similarly amused and dismayed when people were outraged at Tommy Robinson potentially prejudicing criminal proceedings? It seems very highly likely there's a racial element behind it. Based on what? He doesn't appear to have been charged with any racial aggravation yet according to the police. |

People might be a little upset at the money being raised in this case , it’s not a matter of being uncaring but of course , they have become suspicious , rightly so it’s natural when we see how Britain and the British government and British people behave

There is something fundamentally wrong with collecting money in this way for this young Syrian boy , sorry that’s how it is
|
|
By:
If every adult in this country gave you 50p you'd be a multi-millionaire so it's easy to see how crowd funding escalates so quickly.

Maybe donors in the future could learn something from this and only fund after knowing the full facts; £135k is a lot of money irrespective of despicable event.

I knew someone with a young daughter with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a disease of the connective tissues which means a sufferer will feel extremely tired and pain in their joints after any form of physical exertion. Yet her daughter - this was on her own accord - ran for 8 mins in her school car park (12x) raising nearly £400 for Children-In-Need. And she was the only child from her Primary School to do so.
£135k puts my friend's daughter effort into perspective. |

^ that is admirable

beautiful even

Indeed, and she's skin-and-bones,...extremely beautiful with long blonde hair, and can be fragile; complete shutdown the following day, according to my friend, after her commendable good deed.

well done her

OF course after this predictibale virtue signalling social media fueled over response, up and down the country there is now a huge incentive for other kids/people to try and get the same massive cash windfall. Faked assaults, winding someone up until they crack (maybe attacking them first) and filming it and saying what is shown was a racist attack, getting someone prepared to be a fall guy and get a slap on the wrist for being the attacker and splitting the cash, and so on...
|
|
By:
£135k from 1diots virtue signalling to themselves.
Although they'll probably tell everyone they meet that they donated. Well done that young girl btw. |
