No media outcry for the white on white bullying?
Or what about the weedy white kid getting beat on by the asian lads? Typical media again using this to race bait and play's on both sides primal instinct |

I'm sick to death of the media in this country I really am

bullying is wrong, thus contemporary chit-chat engages in whataboutery
his sister got bullied too - or do you have a similar story with bells on? |
|
By:
Its not the fact he's been bullied, its the fact the media have turned it into a race story

Wouldn't it be refreshing to read "poor kid, that bully's a dick" without a massive BUT after it.

It would be ignoring about 90% of the media story. |

My bad, this girl has a video of two pakistanis battering a smaller white boy while another films it. Not sure if it made the news, I doubt it somehow.

This was the MAIN item on the BBC news (or was it newsnight .. or actually both), yesterday. Anyway at least one of them.
When you look at all the far more serious things the BBC deliberately look the other way on .. |

Countries agreed to take their fair share of migrants from Syria including England.
Some come the long route because they have family in Britain Some come to Britain as they can speak English and not other language so settling in is easier. Some would rather not stop in the first safe country when they are unwelcome to immigrants, as we saw with the great migration wave in 2015 in places like Hungary. Some prefer Britain because of the reputation is has with welcomeing migrants as opposed to other one's. Some come to Britain because the standard of living and opportunity is greater than many others. Some come because there is already a substantial Syrian community in certain areas. I don't propose an open door policy, but these isolated scare stories of migrants distort reality, most migrants just want a better life. I know that's hard for you to belive but that's the way it is. |

Not only is there no sympathy for the poor kid, or his poor family, who would rather be at home in a country not bombed to pieces, having been forced to leave because of war, seeing suffering and death we cannot even imagine. But there is the constant "blame" of the media for having the temerity to report on the story.
Some of you are need to have a word with yourselves, you've let your obsession get the better of your reasoning and your humanity. |

Certainly an obsession on my part SF I'm merely pointing out it's bullying nothing more nothing less. Very sadly kids of all colour get bullied in schools all around the country so why the knee-jerk reaction. It's like baby P poor little tots grave a shrine, some travelling miles to leave a teddy bear etc ! Again desperately sad but again due to the media spotlight people go overboard when sad to say at least one or two kids a week die due to violence and neglect. Jonathan Ross and Russel Brand over the Andrew Sachs story, two actual complaints during the programme and then the media backlash 10,000 people outraged as a country we are easily led ! |

You have no idea what it must be like to be a refugee moisok.
Your apparent fervent belief that all immigrants are criminals, paedos or terrorists, has given you the non-stop ticket you possess to decry even the most unfortunate of people, who would almost certainly not have wanted to leave home, on nearly every thread, every day. ufcdan, you're mixing chalk and cheese. There is a difference between simple bullying and this. The poor fecker already has a broken wrist from bullying, he's alone and unwelcome, his sister gets some too, and he's a very long way from home. Just because you were bullied in 1970's Glasgow doesn't justify this sort of thing. Nor should it take a back seat in the news because other (if there are any) stories aren't being covered. The BBC and papers don't have the agenda. You do. If you can't - between you - understand why we "let any in", then that says far more about you than the media says about them. I am proud to disagree with you. |

By:
no self respecting bully would put his name to that
he pushed the kid to the floor and tipped water on him didnt even fill him in much worse bullying occurring every day at schools and much of it filmed and posted online a 30 year old attending school pretending to be a 15 year old - thats serious crime |

By:
I hope this is not that 30 year kid?
That would be too much Kids do bully each other, its what kids do The fact that he an immigrant, is it worse? I don't know Depend on the side the other kids take as well? Has he become too isolated |

study I have worked in many of these countries and I know the condition said people live in (not all not everyone) but they are so so happy to end up here in comparison to what they are faced with in everyday life You have no idea of the comparison with western civilisation its wealth and opportunites why do you think they are all flooding here?? |

sea - I wonder if most on hear even know anything about these countries we have bombed the fk out of (along with the Yanks- our allies - along with our great friends the saudis) - (previously a bulwark against the Evil Iranians) having lived and had relationships with the foreign ones, including the iranians, I think I know absolutely nothing that has framed my view of people around the world except they are interested in a peaceful fulfilling family life and fk the politicos who screw up our lives for us my ex girlfriend ( a malaysian muslim) may educate you on this point hope this helps |

Bullying probably happens in every school and is a curse for those bullied.
I can't see anyone not sympathising with that but that is not what is being discussed here, its the fact that the media have picked on this particular situation and the public have donated £135k. Can we take it that from now on every case of bullying will receive the same treatment? |

I recall being in the Yemen back a long time when it was a protectorate of ours - and they were not happy with us even then
Not a nice place for the imperialist they were finding their feet It was not good then but look at it now - what conclusions does one come to from that. |
