never heard of this case before tonight, was watching a 'top 15 missing persons' video on youtube, they went missing on Boxing Day 1996 aged, 11 and 13, having looked into it, seems like an open and shut case even if unsolved, Brian Field who's now 82 I think, was convicted of kidnapping 2 boys in the 80's and another in the 70's, and was imprisoned 33 years after abducting, sexually assaulting and murdering a 14 year old, Roy Tutill in 1968, he was a landscape gardener and lived in Solihull at the time where Patrick Warren and David Spencer went missing, buried them somewhere no doubt but has never confessed. Though I would of thought he'd of had an accomplice?
Unless chit chat detectives think otherwise ?
I don't know why lifers don't just confess where they're buried, at least give the parents some peace before they die, seen some reports that say the police's efforts to find them were half hearted as they were working class kids from council estates and built a profile that labeled them as basically little runaway scallywags. Sad case anyway.
It's impossible to enter the mind of people such as these to determine why they do what they do, but my guess is they won't give up the information because they believe that holding on to it gives them the power they crave.
I would imagine that - or the fact that he couldn't precisely remember - is why Brady never told the family of Keith Bennett where he is buried.

Come to think of it, in 1996, David Field would have been 60, seems fairly old to have kidnapped 2 of them, may have been the worker at the petrol station who said they asked for a pack of biscuits and was the last to see them alive. I say fairly old, obv they could have just got in his car but kidnapping is generally done by people of a younger age?
