Good post,having watched probably 100+ documentaries about murder and serial killers especially the sexual connection is there almost all the time and in children questions remain about knowing the hows and whys of right and wrong and what has led them to perform such acts in the first place.
The Mary Bell case being a prime example with evidence of her living environment and the sado masochistic prostitution her mother was involved in and sexual abuses the child was involved in left out of the original case.

Just for the record, Mary Bell was not a murderer. She was convicted of manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.

I think one problem with this case is that we are not equipped to deal with children who commit something
as evil as this, this early. His killers were 10 years old!

They were tried as adults, even though that was iffy, but their crime was so evil.


If people think they were not punished enough, it is understandable.
