It goes without saying The Sun is more over the top than the First World War and should never be used as a gauge on the mood of the nation, but even so, I think they were counting on at least competence from the UK Negotiating team. I know I was.
Given this, a 'win-win' mindset from all parties and a realization that there has NEVER been a precedent for a country of the economic and political size of the UK leaving a trading (ho ho!) union, making any existing 'red-lines' largely malleable, then one could reasonably expect a better and easier time of things than we have had.
Instead it's been appeasement and acceptance of a wholly disadvantageous, EU-driven, agenda by our side until now, finally, when a deal (to dignify it with a word it doesn't deserve) has to be sold to the sundry stakeholders involved with this fiasco.
May and her idiot crew deserve all they are going to get.

What I don't get, Dominic Raab - the man who helped make the deal walks away - surely he had a big hand in negotiating it and he knew what May was negotiating!!?? Why wait until it's drafted ?? Unless May sidelined him and he only knew about it 2 days ago. But you just know this deal must be sh1te if the brexit minister can't even support it.

Who are Theresa May's advisors? they lost her the majority she had during the election and has everyone on all sides hating this draft deal? seems very badly advised.

s_h Didn't May's advisers got the sack after dreaming up the worse election tactics since Michael Foots longest suicide note in history?
Yet May was still stupid enough to carry it through. That was where she lost her majority, by proposing to punish her main supporters in an election campaign that was one of the fastest and worst on record.

Seems Dominic Raab was just the messenger boy. The Brexit draft agreement was drawn up by Theresa May and Oliver Robbins, we can thank them for this mess ! One anonymous minister in a news report said Raab was undermined the day after he was appointed.
May said the cabinet were united on this deal. She even started to lie to herself now. Strong and Stable Govt ! How long can she survive now ??!!!

Corbyn ran an exceptionally deceitful campaign, which didn't help the Tories.
Corbyn and his anti-Semites, will struggle to pull the wool over the voters eyes a second time, gullible though their working class supporters are.

The only mess is that we're not fully prepared to leave without a deal.
Because we can clear the politicians away at the next election.
We should abandon trade talks and move towards leaving without a deal, and no more payments to the EU.

Mind you I doubt that even the treacherous Labour MPs would have had the cheek to come up with a worse deal than the one that's on the table now.
Although hang on.

The irony of the timing is poetic. All this should have been last week while everyone were being reminded what selective mentality and individual entrenchment resulted in.
What we are watching among all the squabbling and misinformation in politics is infact destruction of democracy itself. As the Sundays once sang...'Here's how the story ends'
Afix bayonets lads.....
