Quicker than half an hour for sure. Moscow to London is only about 2,500 kilometres. I reckon an ICBM could travel that distance in about ten minutes.

How long is a piece of string. They wouldn't come from Moscow of course. They could be from a cruise missile that came out of a sub just surfaced 20 miles offshore, they could be from an air launch from one of the long distances probing planes they used to launch all the time during the cold war and are still doing again. Mac, although true, I think this needs to be viewed in the context that since 2007 the Doomsday Clock additionally reflects climate change.
