THe primary thing with these things is if they are foil are rotary, I think Braun are always foil, Philips always rotary, and others a mix, something like that. You should read up whether the closeness/rash/sensitivity etc compromise is best for you.

This is without doubt the best shaver I ever had, and my advice is to save your money, and get one of these.....

The difference between foil and rotary is like the difference between lawn mowers!
A rotary one is good at cutting the rough, whereas a cylinder one is used for the greens..... .....neither will do the work of the other...
My growth is fine, and the rotary is only of benefit if I have left it for a couple of days, but then it's necessary to finish with the foil....
My habit is to use the foil twice a day, as it's very quick, and doesn't then get too long!

A very fine observation TB, as you obviously must mix with a lot of "old blokes" and "girly men", to have formed that opinion!
What I didn't admit to is that, from time to time I have to bottom it, with a broken pint glass, as bleeding is a big part of the macho shaving experience!
