until though, they "settle down" or get into a relationship......then their priorities change......and things ain't what they used to be..........."you seemed to change, you acted strange, and why I've never known"......a line from Elvis springs to mind, though in a different context!
By no means all of them change for the worse, but gets me wondering as to why.......and the phrase "there's nowt so **** as folk"...also springs to mind ! (I like my quotes as you can see!!
).....so are most of us just "used" in pursuit of a more important goal?!!

and would you believe it , the word beginning with a q , gets censored nowadays, with no understanding of it's meaning in this context.......you pay peanuts you get monkeys!!....another topic for another day!
