.. just after discussing violence in politics. No comment on the fact it's a photo of a violent act. Palestinians firing stones at Israelis is of course fine by the BBC.
Maybe the projectile was to give a cuddle?

And the guy in the photo is surrounded by press. And it's very VERY clearly got a significant fill in flash to illuminate him against the drab background (if not a light reflector)  .. and he says he doesn't know he was getting photographed? I've not used many slings since I was a boy but they are far easier to operate if you're not holding a **** off huge flagpole in your other hand.

Staged? Never...
