the one with somebody in a supermarket, answering somebody (burgler) who's just rang his bell at home to see if anyone was in....the least convincing burgler of all time, might help if you use someone with a rough local dialect in dark clothing rather than someone whose polite well spoken voice sounds like he wouldn't be out of place sitting around the dinner table at the Palace! Prospective burglar even apologises for disturbing himLaugh

Doesn't make you want to rush out to buy this device even if it is a good idea, head in hands man for the marketing departing IMO.

I've got one and it's a piece of crap. Works about half the time and then only as a frustrating annoyance as it keeps cutting out.

Police don't investigate burglary anymore so it's effectively legal.  You're best off using your ring.com to politely ask the burglar if he could avoid making too much of a mess and if it's not too much trouble maybe leave an inventory of the things he's taking.
