He's a muppet and deserves a hefty jail sentence.

Having said that, I feel sorry for him a bit, 5-10 years for being stupid ( and a bit of bad parenting no doubt ) is a big lesson.


Being a vandal is bad enough, but vandalising someone else's country? phuck'em.

He obviously doesn't give a toss about anyone else so, learn to share the planet with others or spend your life in and out of jail, it ain't pretty but that's what it is.

Visitors should always respect the people and customs of the countries they visit, it should be mandatory.

Why hasn't banksy been done anyway, surely many of the countries he's done his stuff in have laws against it?

Ignorance of the Law is no excuse unless the culprit is a Brit fighting for ISIS returning to the UK when they get benefits, a house and their choice of waiting list on the NHS of which to top!

Saw a banged up abroad a while ago where a guy was thrown into some 3rd world prison as shampoo had leaked onto his passport in his bag and ruined it.

Scary stuff. Makes you think twice about going to some of these places as if somehow you get on wrong side of them...

Gotta love the way Thais deal with criminals tho. They're very big on public shaming, marching the criminals back to the scene of the crime and taking photos, and inviting the media to film it all

I also admire Singapore. Landing card on an aircraft states" Welcome to Singapore, we always execute drug smugglers"!
