the real value of the BBC is seen when there's a major incident - without the BBC would you watch Sky News? - BBc is globally recognised as a fantastic organisation, it's a worldwide source of news and current affairs

why would you want to sue the BBC - its a public organisation - you'd be taking money off everyone you know?

And nor am I Cliff ****'n Richard !!!!

If you only use Amazon, netflix etc, you can own a TV and not pay a license.

But it's not just a TV that counts for watching Live TV, if you watching TV on any device, laptop or phone included, they expect you to pay a license.

Basically, if you phone up and claim you do not watch live TV and only watch say netflix, they will cancel your license, from there on in it's up to simply not get caught Laugh

Try it, they will cancel it if you claim there's no live tv being wathed.

But the thing with the BBC is, if there were stripped of forcing people to pay for a TV license, you'd still be paying one to the governemtn, like many other countries do, how much that would be though, I don't know.

The cost of going to prison to the UK will massively outweigh the license fee.

And if you are open minded, might improve your sex life! LaughBlush

Worth considering?

One thing that JC missed out in his recommendation for going to jail is that you will see the full and majestic benefits of

If you really resent paying the TV license, if they pay you a visit, simply start filming them on your phone and tell them you're going to put it on youtube, they'll soon leave promptly and/or become less assertive, I would guess most of these people do not tell their friends what it is they do for a living, let alone wanting to be filmed doing it whilst being put online forever for everyone to see.

I think you miss the point bud , the courts ,ie our justice system depicts I am criminal (because I won’t or don’t pay for something I don’t believe in)the BBC introduce advertising with out it being obvious, and try to put themselves right over past failings, whilst the same people ride on the gravey train, making substandard programs , black, ****,women or anti trump ,seems the norm with em ,as I said trying to put right past failings

I’m not sexist or racist

I wonder how many people are prosecuted in Stepney ? where the amount of Pakistani and Bangladeshi people are 90% of the local population,
where people have names which doesn't distinguish whether they are male or female, and many have the same names, and can't or won't speak English !! can't imagine the authorities having the man power to nick anyone in that area, or wanting to upset the local community
