I don't even know anyone who could name a female footballer, let alone be interested in it.

Ever since a woman took over as the head of sport at the BBC, they haven't stopped using every opportunity to get rid of men.
Commentators, reporters, pundits, studio links, all women!!
Uninteresting sport, and wherever possible women's sport, being given equal or superior billing to men's.

No way do 80% of fans have any interest. Not sports fans anyway.

Most people I know are now more interested in this youtube boxing (KSI) and UFC etc, because there's less politically correct rubbish going on in it, plus its mostly lads getting together and enjoying the events, not that I'm a fan of it because its pretty poor compared to real boxing imo but each to their own I guess.

They are shooting themselves in the foot big time, more and more younger men are fed up with the mainstream sport because its constantly ramming it down their throats its for both genders and its a family sport Crazy

I see the BBC are trying to hop on this youtube bandwagon though, but give them 2 weeks in charge of it and they'll have stories out about "should KSI go to the ring in a tutu?"

Shameful really

It was a breath of fresh air listening to the true geordie (youtuber) commentating on that farcical boxing match though, no soundbites just a normal bloke with a passionate commentary (even swearing Laugh), not a woman in sight

This is why people are fed up with it, but a lot are deserting it and going out to do their own thing which is a good thing, just need to improve the skills.
