East Germany still hasn't recovered from its years suffering the 'joy of socialism', and that's with huge piles of money being thrown at it by the successful capitalist west Germany for almost 3 decades. Happy Germany unification day btw! |

Nature doesnt wet-nurse failure. There should be the debate regarding fairness, and treatment of all people...but to say everyone has to be handicapped because of inability holds humanity back. |

It's unreasonable to consider Box-carriers as failures. By your definition, everyone who doesn't have a high-flying well paying position is a failure. This isn't true. Some people have poorly paid jobs because they enjoy them. The fact is that money needs to circulate and not rise to the top - which it does - only to be put away with the other money. Therefore the people who will spend it are the people who should have it. Whatever system of success you would choose to adopt, there would still have to be surgeons and dustmen, teachers and factory workers. If everyone went to university and got a degree, then the qualification for success would be 2 degrees, and the failures wouldn't be rewarded. It isn't at all reasonable to offer those other than the 1% (or however large you want your %age to be) bugger all because they weren't your definition of "success". Government isn't based on nature, nor should it be. I'm guessing that you have studied economics and have possibly worked in the world of finance. If not, you argue the case of someone in that very bubble. |

STUDYFORM 1 Corbyn has NEVER supported any terrorists - he might talk to them, but says that lasting peace can be gained with dialogue rather than war. Many people obviously choose not to believe that. Yes and for good reason SF its pure bollox. Corbyn attended ira events including funerals. He dined with them, met with them and even invited some to Westminster. He did none of that with Unionists. He is now trying, as you are, to rewrite history. BTW plenty of ex terrorists have spoken of his support. |

Scandinavian countries have, for years been fine under socialist governance. Sweden has pretended to be fine while suffering serious violent disorder across their cities in recent years. They won't be pretending for much longer imho. |

People find their own place, how many impecunious erudite individuals do you know? Equally, I wouldnt care less is somebody called me a failure if my future was secured because I had made my money. The suggestion that people do poorly paid jobs because they choose to is fine, just dont expect everyone to have to take that limited aspect of life. Im no tory, most of what happens in society is technologically based and the product of innovation. If all a person can do is carry a box how do you equate that to value? My point about nature not wet nursing failure was related to our evolution. Socialism goes nowhere because it has no 'umph' it simply treads water. |
