Unlike people like Tom Jones ,Petula Clarke and other sixties artists ,Rod has never gone out of fashion ,or become uncool ,amazing.

being a massive rod stewart fan all my life but do find him a bit cringe as hes got older.

Hes had 2 good Albums in Every Picture Tells A Story and Never A Dull Moment and they were well over 40 years ago. Been going downhill ever since, you know its nearly Xmas when Rod brings an album out usually singing someone else,s songs,he should never have split The Faces  imo.

amount of talent in 'the faces' was incredible.

Which only goes to prove that most kids are wasting their time at school trying to pass exams.

All they have to do if they're good looking is to learn to strum a guitar and write catchy songs.

Then if they make a fortune they end up being treated like Gods by the working classes.

Right throughout America  and Britain suddenly in the late 50s and 60s there was this explosion of music and it was ordinary everyday young people mainly from working class backgrounds Presley , Cash , Beatles , Stones , whoever who suddenly discovered they could produce an entirely new form of music , it’s something like a miracle really
