The chord progression in Dear Prudence is a work of genius. Or it would be if Lennon had been conscious of the theory behind what he was writing. Whether he was or he wan't the result is the same and gets me going every time I hear it.

Penny Lane for me I think, but very difficult to choose. The following is a real treat - it's Paul McCartney being honoured at the Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts in the presence of Barack Obama and the First Lady (so it's a few years old) and well worth watching if you haven't already seen it.

Great pop song indeed and the best single never to reach number 1 Moke, but I really think "Get Back" stands the test of time

Also, I'm sure everybody has already seen it, but just in case you haven't, have a look at James Corden's Car Karaoke with Paul McCartney. Now I know it's been well publicised so most of you have probably already seen it. Now I'm not the biggest James Corden fan to be honest and he puts me off most things that he appears in, but even he comes over quite well in this and the whole thing is very well done and those of you who are slightly sentimental may need a box of tissues with you during this 24 minute video.
