If you want to see shocking animal neglect, and cruelty, check out "Animal Cops Houston/Phoenix and Miami"...

You will keep thinking you've seen it all, and then is something worse!

I agree with lfc. Concerted campaigns to save a few hundred foxes a year, millions of animals a week subjected to Halal torture and no one is bothered enough to say owt critical.

it is called the rochdale syndrome  - like sticking blinkers on a race horse

or more like putting a blind fold on - tying you down and giving you a jolly good spanking for your pains

no it is not  - it is like betting on soccerball and guessing how many times they fill the onionbag with the pig skin(apologies to any one of our friends who takes a fence)

shelling peas is working for birds eye

hope I have helped you with your incorrect and misguided view

Slippy, it is distressing but, at the same time, heartwarming to see the ones that can be brought back to health, and then fostered
before putting up for adoption.

Unfortunately many are to far gone and, at least, can have their years of suffering ended.

The sheer scale of the HSPCA operation is incredible, and the work done by the recovery team is sensational.

Often the homes and animals have just been abandoned, but where the owners are on hand, when the recovery warrant is served, are offered the opportunity to go to court and ask for them to be returned.

More often than not, and with the judge seeing the hideous evidence, that is denied, and they leave the court to be immediately handcuffed and arrested.

The courts in the UK are too lenient with cases of animal cruelty.
Tougher sentences and lifelong bans on keeping an animal would be a step in the right direction.

Last night I had the misfortune to view hidden cam footage filmed inside a Kosher slaughterhouse in the US (2008) .
Apparently when it was visited by investigators , including a senior Rabbi , the slaughter of cattle was carried out according to US legislation . The following day secret filming revealed that animals were in fact being slaughtered in a manner that caused unneccessary suffering and distress and that the abattoir in question had simply operated within the law only for the duration of the inspection .
This footage was filmed in the US , not the UK , but that is not to say that similar practices aren't carried out in the UK also . What is it with these barbaric alien cultures that they feel it necessary to cause suffering to innocent creatures ? Like I said previously it makes absolutely no difference to the consumer whether the meat they eat is derived from an animal that died peacefully or in agony . It's going to taste the same ! So why bother ? Are these people intrinsically sadistic ?
Sad

I think the answer as to why halal slaughterhouses haven't been banned or are not monitored more closely, can be found in this recent informative article.....

WE have to have food for our schools , your Children are eating Halal ..

Thanks layemall .
Apparently Halal meat is an essential part of the Muslim faith .
The words Muslim faith refer to an ancient belief system that has no viable function in the civilised world , The Q'uran , like The Bible , being a collection of {allegedly} fictitious stories which have little or no relevance to modern life .
The reciting of a blessing prior to inflicting a slow and painful death on another living creature could be described as nothing short of comical if it wasn't for the suffering that follows in both Halal and Kosher slaughter . Surely they would be better served praying for forgiveness for inflicting such an inhumane death on one of God's creations (assuming one believes in God's creation and the Book of Genesis) . According to their belief system 'Only one animal may be slaughtered at a time and the other animals must not witness any death' . That certainly wasn't the case in the video I saw so clearly they excercise the right to 'cherry pick' specific aspects of their own manual . If selectivity is permitted in relation to the Q'uran then why not omit the whole section relating to Halal and just treat animals in a humane manner , even if they are destined for human consumption ?
As casemoney points out , Halal food has now entered the 'standard' food chain and I think that this is a serious issue , as Lord Trees stated when he addressed the House of Lords regarding this matter . He went on to say that with regard to animal welfare "we are going backwards!" . I have to concur with this .

you are making people like porky feel uncomfortable so it is the chop for you reynard (pardon for the two pig references - oooops!! three now) - just adding more ........phobic crimes to the list so the stats look good for the final purge, then their will be no resistance to the demographic push. You sea, they is the cleverist by far. You won't be allowed to utter a single word of criticism.
In certain publishing houses you are now not to mention pigs or their products.
What on earth will they do with animal farm?

and yet you openly adore Trump and Corbyn, both of whom have openly stated their disdain for critical press coverage, with Trump in particular in addition also denouncing everything he simply doesn't fancy as FAKE NEWS.
