It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our very own Chas Hodges.
Despite receiving successful treatment for oesophageal cancer recently,
Chas suffered organ failure and passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of this morning.

It’s ok , I never knew him at all
apart from the music the same  as everyone else here I imagine

I wouldn’t  have said anything if I thought someone knew him personally of course

If a musician dies you have to mention the music

anything else and you would feel something is missing

A lot of British music suffers from not really being music , more pantomime
There is that tradition as if the music isn’t the most important thing
American music is different , it’s the music that is important first second and last

Very sad to hear this news, i'd thought it was Dave that had been ill recently. I'd think that "Aint no pleasing you", would be many a husbands anthem for their missus! RIP Chas.Sad
