Sad fk me never hurt it like this before. Playing some tennis last week and overstretched for a ball thinking I'm fkin Rafa Nadal ffs. Seems to be mainly down both sides and middle of back. Was thinking of doing sports massage, but probably best to go to dr first I suppose. Likelihood of getting PT referral?  Will probably be fixed before PT can see me though. Any back tips from chit chat?

Worst thing out is exercise.

If you're ill you shouldn't exercise, and if you're well you don't need to.

I wouldn't bother with a sports massage Hank nor joining a N.H.S. waiting list for physio which could be 3 months or more. Go and see an osteopath privately, a good one will be money very well spent. I had a nasty back problem through playing far too much squash, the physiotherapist was a waste of time and the osteopath got me sorted after 8 visits and I've not had any back pain since and that was 5 years ago.

Ibuprofen will mask the problem ,it’s a pain killer, quinine is a  muscle relaxer ,idiot

Best cure for a bad back?

Time.

If it's v. painful, Ask doc for some co-dydramol, if you can manage without, then take paracetamol [analgesic] and Ibupfroen (or Aspirin)[anti-inflammatory] taking turns each 2 hours... making sure never to take ibuprofen/aspirin on an empty stomach.
It really should start to ease in 3 or 4 days. It is most often caused by pulling a muscle.

Fecking hurts though.
