Oh how could I forget Iran...

A vile piece of ****

You can say ok all you want everything I've said above is true. The MM today aren't portraying an accurate representation of the opinion of McCain imo, as I would say the vast majority of the American population with a slight bit of decency didn't align with his ridiculous pro war policies.

I too am shocked at the positive coverage JM is getting. Very odd in fact. Main headline on the BBC and others???

America lost over 4000 lives in Iraq alone. 10s of thousands of Americans injured. Possibly 100k Iraq dead and the spread of IS to boot..

Will ANYONE who supported that disaster (plus Afganistan and Libya) be held accountable? The way we're going, Blair will get a state funeral...

Another warmonger goes down. But someone will have already taken his place.

Veteran and a War hero. Apparently those are honorable labels even when you have no other option but to signup. or go to jail. But we'll always be told to respect these two because war, ladies and gentlemen, is a great business and you want the sheep to be there to fight for you every time.

of course people die in war that is the dreadful nature of war , many millions of people died and sufferers in WW2It is a terrible thing I don’t think McCain who has suffered in war needs someone like you to tell him that

People die in war. But the moment a guy with a beard flashes a knife lfc will whine about it here before he p1sses his pants. Because he thinks in war, the other side isn't allowed to attack you.

And how can I forget his legendary comment, also a consequence of an attack in London, that every country should be left alone, except the ones we decide to invade and liberate(also implying that he is fine with invasions away from home, but not fine with the ones being invaded attacking you back). He even said people of iraq should thank US and UK for invading their country.

You are a legend lfc, Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

NOT  a war hero, the guy was responsible for hundreds of AMERICAN deaths in Vietnam, giving up American positions while captured. Worked with Hilary and Obama to crete ISIS.Somehere he lost his way and gave himself to the Globalist. 36 years in Congress and never shy about throwing American troops in harms way. The bloke was a total sh1t.

How dare you disrespect a guy who fought for your freedom? Its because of him that you are able to type a comment like this. You wouldn't be able to say this to his face.

I have talked about war with a number of americans. Without any exception, I get at the very least one of the above three comments in response. Its a sad world terry.

the way McCain is getting portrayed should make it clear to all the wannabe oppressed on here that it is Trump's personality and not his politics/conservatism that gets him the bad PR

John McCain's finest moment (for me) came in 2008, when a woman at a rally referred to Obama as an Arab. "No, ma'am," McCain replied. "He's a decent family man, a citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with." That's manning up.

a great man and his finest moment is tepidly telling off a racist Love

Ray Kroc and Walt Disney. Two men who brought us a lot of delight and were draft dodgers. Nothing shameful about being a draft dodger. There are enough sheep to serve the elite. There always will be.

Yes, the man had some basic decency, and respect for his political opponents that seems so rare among republicans today. Rest in peace mr. McCain.

Think you'll find detraveller that the well educated rich whites didn't go to Vietnam, Trump avoided the draft five times. So as McCain fell into the mentioned category I think you'll find that the label honourable fits John McCain very well. May he RIP

Guardian obituary hails him as an All American Hero... even pumped in an anti-Trump message as well.
Well done Guardian, twist the truth, as always.
