Seems to me to be a man of great integrity, class, bravery and deserving of the utmost respect..

Integrity???? I think somebody needs to do a little more research. A disgusting warhawk if there ever was one. What could you possibly like about this despicable specimen of a human being?

A war with Iran would have made him cream his pants. He had no issue with children being blown to bits as long as America's interests were served so no tears should be shed. Apart from that he must have left his integrity at the door when he met those well known Ukrainian neo-Nazis and brought Palin onto the world stage.

After such a terrible diagnosis maybe he would have wondered what would have happened to him if he was one of the 30 million Americans without healthcare and put his last months into reforming the system to ensure nobody dies because of a lack of treatment, but no. That would have taken integrity.

It's astonishing that in this day & age with all the access to information that anybody is willing to refer to John McCain as anything other than the war mongering piece of **** he is.

The first two posters should be ashamed.

For better or worse America IS the country who is the world's policeman...........sorry I'm talking to lefties, policeperson. They are also the country that has protected Europe since WW2. Out of interest which country would you prefer to be in that position, Russia, China ??????

better than Russia or China maybe - but don't make the mistake of thinking that the USA does anything that's not in it's own interests.

Surely you can 'police' the world without meeting neo-Nazis or playing poker while life or death is being discussed. Or while wanting others to have access to the same healthcare that he gets. What any of that has to do with a China run Europe as an alternative is beyond me.

Why would any country not put their interests first unless that country is England............mustn't be proud of England

I'll save my sympathy for the thousands of innocent people/children who were slaughtered by the barbaric interventionalist policies which were implemented under this war monger. Thanks

Choosing Sarah Palin as running mate in 2008 wasn't his smartest move but at least it kept him out of the White House.

Thank you Afc888 for bringing some historical issues that I was ignorant of. You’re correct in that I should of possibly done some more research. My initial comments were based simply on my impressions of how the man has conducted himself recently whilst undergoing treatment and battling illness. A battle, that sadly he was unable to win..

Bit like Sessions, everyone feeling sorry for him 'cos Donny has him in orange crosshairs but the man's zero tolerance policy at the border means over 500 children are still separated from their parents.
By:

Yes but if these children's parents obeyed the law, they wouldn't be.

Idiots like Afc888  would have been calling Churchill a war criminal on his death for  defeating nazism and the death camps , that’s the level of vile hatred people like him have

just been going through some of the media headlines during the 2008 campaign about McCain they called him everything under the sun and now they are saying how he stood for decency and honour.they really are lowest of the low and most of them deserve everything they get

Well Lfc he didn't do a very good job in my eyes & I'm sure the countless amount families of the dead/injured people over the years who've been affected by these proxy wars would agree with me.

Was in the defence contractors back pockets. War monger. Scumbag.

of course people die in war that is the dreadful nature of war , many millions of people died and sufferers in WW2
It is a terrible thing I don’t think McCain who has suffered in war needs someone like you to tell him that
By:
Afc888
When: 26 Aug 18 10:25
I think you'll find that John McCains record voting in the Senate didn't suggest he thought that war was such a terrible thing. Afganistan, Libya, IRAQ!? O he apologized about Iraq that's fine then!Crazy

What is wrong with you how can you defend that?

In fact that there isnt a war/conflict in recent years that John McCain didn't advocate getting involved in.

As far as I can see all those wars were to overthrow evil regimes , now you can get into an argument as to whether it was wise or not I am not going to have that discussion on this thread

However all those regimes were terrorist  dictatorships

Syria, Yemen & dont forget his Nazi friends in Ukraine.

Oh yes & don't forget his ridiculously dangerous stance towards Russia. Don't worry about a hot war..
