the deep fried mars bar is a bit of a myth. it does happen but mainly tourists.
the story seems to be that is started in a wee town called Stonehaven near Aberdeen for a joke but a few other places claim it. I've tried a fried chocolate bar once, it was weird because for some reason it seems super sweet when heated & is quite revolting. it isn't something anyone does regularly, i hope. |
