Nah, something's not right with that vid. Check the three vehicles that follow the perp in. Two white vans and a dark saloon. Track the vid back and see where they came from. It all looks carefully timed. What's with the larger white van that just stops?

Police seem to raid houses each time in such circumstances. Often people are ' arrested ' and then released without charge with no further comment or explanation from police. I don't know - and until such evidence is found, the branding of ' terrorist ' is potentially premature. |

No idea what the true story is, but one thing is for certain, this was not a planned attack on those cyclists and at that time. a ford fiesta and apparently no other weapons is very odd and it appears likely he was spooked in some way by the sound of the siren. The other vehicle following also needs explaining. It's possible he was on some sort of scouting expedition and at some point planned an attack if he was driving around for a considerable period as has been reported, but something is not right about events and needs explaining.

The authorities should publish statistics on how many white,black,brown etc people there are in this country and the percentage of each category that have criminal records. They should then drill down and publish the same stats for men and women in those categories and age band categories etc etc.
Facts surely common sense dictates this Sudanese fellow is a terrorist seeing as he's refusing to explain his action.Shame the police didn't shoot him at the scene. |

It was odd that armed police went right up to the car with him in it. One copper gave the thumbs up to others BEFORE the car had been checked for weapons/explosives. |
