That begs the questions - are you a True Brit?

Furthermore, by adding "liberal leftist sc**" to your dictionary, and using such phrases and words much to my shock, don't you contribute in the deterioration of fine British culture?

Just like I have told you specifically, repeatedly, that people are right to highlight rape gangs. Like any remotely sane person.

^

Finally. Good. So we can agree that people like Jack Straw, Sarah Champion, Tommy Robinson and Andrew Norfolk are doing their country (and the entire western world) a service by highlighting these issues.

Jack Straw and Sarah Champion - common denominator - both politicians who were/are responsible for highlighting problems within their constituencies and working towards a better society , both voiced their concerns on serious issues which are statistically proven and both villified to the point that one was even demoted for attempting to raise awareness of systematic abuse .

Andrew Norfolk - investigative journalist within the mainstream media whose tireless efforts to address a problem affecting some of the most vulnerable people in our society were constantly met with walls of silence from those within a system that facilitated the rape and abuse of young girls on an industrial scale .

Tommy Robinson - UK citizen who chose to stand up and speak out on behalf of the silent majority regarding grooming gangs , comprised mostly of pakistani-muslim heritage men (statistical fact) and as a result has endured nearly a decade of libelous and slanderous comments from both politicians and media including unfounded accusations of racism , nazism , persecution by the authorities and ultimately , potentially unlawful imprisonment .

The most well known of the above 4 is the odd one out in so much as it was the paid profession of the other 3 who were all well-educated and trained in their chosen field . But it took an ordinary individual , a 'man off the street' , to raise the awareness to a more national level , encouraging tens of thousands to take to the streets to protest at the corruption within successive governments that caused such serious issues to be suppressed . Yet still he is referred to in news bulletins etc as "The former leader of the EDL" in an attempt to pursue a narrative which suits the agenda of those in power .

Tommy Robinson is a brave and courageous man who has literally risked his life in the pursuit of justice for tens , if not hundreds of thousands of innocent victims . For this reason alone , if for no other , he should be respected and admired .

Finally.

"Finally" for someone who is playing an obtuse bull****, yes. Anyone else on the forum with a bit of comprehension and brains knew all along. Well, of course you knew perfectly well as well all along, but just chose to play your obtuse character. Knowing you, in a about two days you'll be back to claiming that I'm a huge fan of raping gangs.

Do you have any evidence of Mr Robinson being a thug ? I've seen him defending himself when he's been attacked..does that count ?

Absolutely shocking.

All the main stream media went on and on that he pleaded guilty.

Even people on here used this fake news as a talking point.

Here is the interview (bad quality).

Tommy just says what he has seen, heard and read. Watch his Newsnight interview (before Andrew Norfolk even started writing articles) and his Oxford Union address. Decide for yourself.

The appellant initially appealed in time against only the sentence imposed in Leeds, but in due course expanded the appeal to seek extensions of time to appeal against the findings of contempt in both Leeds and Canterbury, despite his having accepted on both occasions that he was in contempt of court, and also against the sentence imposed in Canterbury.

from the court document that Ibrahima Sonko linked to for us leftys. Doesn't that mean he pleaded guilty? Is the judge lying? Is it my lack of English skills hindering my understanding here?

New conservatism is arguing against a strawman they create rather actual opinions

Edy in the second case he was not even told what he had done wrong according to judgement earlier in the week.

He says he did not plead guilty which is what a lot of people have been claiming.

TR also claims he was in solitary confinement. However...

A Prison Service spokesman said: "Mr Yaxley-Lennon was treated with the same fairness we aim to show all prisoners - he had access to visits, television and showers - and it is totally false to say he was held in 'solitary confinement'.

"He was initially placed into the Care & Separation Unit for less than 48 hours while an assessment of the risk to his safety was undertaken by prison staff. He then joined the main prison population."

btw, keeps shouting fake news at everything he simply does't fancy and uses patriotic correctness to shut up others but claims I'm the one against freedom of speech.

...yeah...

So who is telling the truth? The plot thickens.

Well, I'm inclined to believe an honourable judge, who did after all grant his request for a retrial regarding Leeds. Courts usually protocol stuff that's being said too.

So if said judge writes in his verdict that someone did accept his guilt, and only challenges the length of the individual and cumulative sentences, that's what is more likely to be true in my opinion.

Did Mr. Yaxley-Lennon publish his appeal documents? That would put some light on whether he really just challenged the length of his sentences, or his guilt altogether.

New Conservatism sounds so noble for something that is responsible for the erosion of our societies, but yeah, folks like IT heavily prefer to just make up things that they're more comfortable arguing against.

The judgement does not say he pleaded guilty. He says he did not plead guilty.
By:

Can you quote the relevant part and explain what "despite his having accepted on both occasions that he was in contempt of court" means then?
By:
InsiderTrader
When: 03 Aug 18 10:19
If he had pleaded guilty it would have said that.

As there are reporting restrictions on the Leeds hearing none of us know if he plead guilty. But no officials are claiming he did and TR is claiming he did not.
By:
InsiderTrader
When: 03 Aug 18 10:21
I dont see how he could have because the judge did not even explain what he did that was contempt of court. Infact some are claiming the judge did not even watch the full facebook broadcast.
By:
edy
When: 03 Aug 18 10:25
Are you that familiar with court documents to know that they always strictly spell out "Dude pleaded guilty for..." instead of similar phrases that express the same thing? Phrases like "He accepted that he broke this law and that law and challenges the length of the sentences".

Again, I'm not a native speaker, but if a documents says that someone accepted that he acted in contempt of court, to me that equals that he pleaded guilty for contempt of court. Can you post a verbose language analysis on why that is not the case?
By:
InsiderTrader
When: 03 Aug 18 10:37
Yes. In a normal court case the accused puts in a plea and that plea is recorded in the court notes by the recorder.

In this case neither of us know what the procedure was, if he entered and plea and if he pleaded guilty.

Does the defendant even enter a plea in contempt of court cases?
By:
edy
When: 03 Aug 18 10:49
So in essence he accepted his guilt, but since it was not big enough a crime it's simply not officially called a guilty plead. The media that used the description "pleaded guilty" were terribly sloppy in their use of language, but got the basic idea perfectly right regarding something that makes no difference to the average John Smith and is just a technicality.
By:
InsiderTrader
When: 03 Aug 18 10:51
Edy he was not told what he had done wrong so what was how could he. It is fake news to say he plead guilty.
