London Infants Schools English 2nd Language

Thats the wonderful multicultural society we live in, the politicians who forced it upon us don't live in those areas, they live in the cotswolds or posh parts of london with 24 hour police protection.

This is the East London school that Michelle Obama infamously visited during an 'inspiring' (LOLOL) visit here in 'Back Of The Queue' Britain.

Yes I still remember the time politicians used to live among the people, send their own kids to the wars they started and cared about the people when making policies.

Its really quite astonishing that this is happening in an English speaking county. What's the fist language in these schools then?

Almost certainly Urdu in Wakefield.

Is it urdu as the medium of instruction? Or is it urdu as in that's the language the kids talk among themselves in? I am guessing its the latter?

The problem for kids is that the majority(say in this case Pakistani kids) use Urdu outside class and that leaves your English kid neither here nor there. I've spent a couple of semesters in Hong Kong. Medium of instruction English. Outside the class no one speaks english. You are fkd. Don't let your kids go through that torture. It'll mess them up. At least the school is giving sound advice.

Indeed, and when increasingly more schools are handed over, people may begin to question why the country is becoming more divided as immigration increases.

They teach in English I would have thought.

However overseas many school teach in English even when English is not the first language. There does not seem to be complaints at English and American schools for ex-pats. Why can people here not do the same?

I see that's London. It makes sense now. Obviously the schools and places of worship will be a reflection of the population. Nothing surprising about that.

It is ashley ok to be fair. I mean apart from the fact they try and queue jump at the bar. I mean if you tried that in South London you would get a clout but they push in without conscience. Bugs me. It made me depressed, must be even harder for kids

All pupils should be taught in English.

we all know what is going on but to actually say it can threaten your job, position etc etc


the problem is the one's who are not affected are often the ones who are living far away from the issue

They seem to be the promoters and vociferous defenders of the situation and want more of it
