Always interesting to see Alf Roberts sky-diving off a Gateshead Car Park roof. 

Seriously though, a very fine film, and probably Roy Budd's best film soundtrack.

Sobering to think there are people on here, using this site quite legally, who were actually born after Alf Roberts died.

They could be watching Alf Roberts in Get Carter, and have no idea that he used to play a character called Alf Roberts.
