We had 2 prolonged torrential downpours here in Dulwich earlier, still raining but not quite so heavy. It's the first rain we've had for 8 weeks, thunder and lightening now as well.

Just been told there are hailstones coming down like bullets in Lincolnshire.

Meanwhile, here in Berks / Bucks, some thunder but just light rain and only for around 30 minutes. (First rain for about eight weeks)

Just had the 3rd heavy downpour of the day here in York, latest was a 15 minute barrage of hail and rain. Still showing 29c on the thermometer.

One shower, about 5 mins, going very dark again now, Taunton area.

We've just had 4 spots drop, and then that was enough it seems

Severe conditions now in Lincolnshire. Torrential rain, thunder, lightning and strong winds.

On The Wash it was rain , hail , wind , thunder and lightning . The thunder was strange as it was a continuous rumbling as if a large jet was circling above .
