here;s how.
Ask the people of the UK this question in a referendum(DO YOU WANT A SECOND REFERENDUM ON BREXIT,ANSWER YES OR NO)
now at first glance you may say to yourself "no way" or "yes please"
what ever the people say to this question will clear the air once and for all,if the people VOTE yes to this question,or if the people VOTE no to this question it is what they want that matters, and if they vote for a second referendum on brexit  so  be it.
After all ,in a democracy the people should have a right to change their minds if they wish also, and now that they know the real facts about brexit the result may change but if it does it will be the people that have spoken with the real facts this time, and then no one can argue about the result because it will be the people who have spoken and the air will be cleared once and for all.

you see the government would not need permission to ask the people if they would like a second vote,it different than asking them to vote again.
we all know that the brexit outcome will inevitability lead to civil unrest all across the cities and towns of the UK.
Once the people start to lose their jobs, lose their homes,no heating and no electricity, and supermarkets end up with empty shelves, packed hospitals with no medicine, and all the rest(imvho) people will take to the streets.
but if they do what i suggest it will be the people who vote what the outcome will be and society or politicians can not be blamed, the people will decide the UK'S future now that everyone knows the real facts, and as i say "nobody can be blamed once the people get the choice on should there be another vote.

Why didn't someone think of this before ? Absolute masterstroke !
Maybe after each General Election we should give it a fortnight and then ask the electorate if they want another general election . In fact why don't we have a general election every 3rd Thursday of the month . That way the Government would feel obliged to adhere to their manifesto or risk the wrath of the people on a rolling basis . We could then play the Hokey Cokey with the EU etc...............

They knew that last afternoon they had won.

BUT ooops  the peasants were not listening  - that is the problem -IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN and they were not ready for a No vote.

Brassy, they are not real facts (unless you are referring to what the EU did to Greece). It's propaganda designed to soften us up for a second vote or to accept either Brino or staying put.
The real facts will only be known after we have left. Hope that helps.

brexit will happen sooner(for us) or later for the rest, the eu in its present form is dead and they need us to stay in to kick the can further down the road, when we leave it will quicken it up and the crash will be bigger than the last one,so we either get out now and have a chance to limit the carnage or wait until it falls and feel the full force of the carnage like the rest of the eu

you guys think i am crazy ,but check this thread next April and you will read posts about the 2nd brexit vote that took place, and check the daily news for the next 3 weeks and you will here sound bites and hints from both sides about a second vote.First the UK Will be told by the EU that they are not allowed to have a second vote,(a trick),this will get the hair standing on the backs of the necks of the UK people and soon Theresa will announce that the UK will have a second vote if they wish to do so.(and she will be cheered for this statement)(part of the plan). And then all the people of the UK will say"we will have a second vote if we want to"(people hoodwinked again) and finally you will read that
The UK DEFY EUROPE RULING AND DECIDE ON SECOND VOTE(telling Europe that they will make their own decisions on their future)
and behind closed doors the champagne corks will pop and the back slapping will begin, and the UK people will say"who the feck do Europe think the are telling us we cant have another vote, that will show them who rules"Laugh

Fake news has been used to control the masses since way before the ones you list in the shape of organised religion.

The sad reality is that a substantial proportion of the population will believe any old guff they hear without doing any further checking of its veracity.  You only have to look at the amount of bull spouted on an almost daily basis by Trump - yet he's the one crying fake news louder than most!

Scary times.

There are 220m households within the EU as of 2017 and 27.2m in the UK.  While it would be a significant loss of sales, the UK market is tiny compared to the EU as a whole.  Is the UK domestic market alone sufficient to justify the expense of setting up supply and manufacturing chains?  I doubt it.

Report wit-ham • July 30, 2018 3:37 PM BST
Yes Latalomne but or 27.2m households of those outside cities and a lot in have minimum of 2 cars per household
obviously dont know how many cars per household in EU .So 50 million sales is not to be sniffed at at 20 odd grand a pop minimum
Report Latalomne • July 30, 2018 6:01 PM BST
You do realise not everybody buys BMW, Merc or Audi?  Even fewer will be able to afford to if NO DEAL happens.

Nobody is going to invest in the UK until they know what the situation is going to be moving forward, or what deals are likely to be possible for imports from outside the EU.
Report wit-ham • July 30, 2018 6:19 PM BST
Yes Latalomne the same applies to EU not everybody drives a BWM etc
and that is exactly the point if brexit ever happens mercs etc will be very
expensive unless built over here.
Understand that nobody will invest but you can say the same about any non eu country
All i can go on is what my eyes see and my own ideas of what i see going on working
with the public for 30 odd years
The car parks at the station i work 45 miles from mecca are full of German/Italian/French cars
to the tune of around 70% the rest are a real mixture also we do not have the handing in of season tickets
(lost jobs)we had in 2006/07 and could predict what was coming. If anything seasons are increasing according
to the news(not 100% sure of that myself but a lot have gone online)
Yes it a long post i not always make sensebut don't see the disaster in the long run
unless those at the top decide to pull the rug from underneath as they did in the late eighties.
  Sorry long post
Report Latalomne • July 30, 2018 10:21 PM BST
Of course not everybody drives a BMW in the EU, but the EU market is almost 10 times the size of the UK market.  In percentage terms it would be a HUGE investment to build a plant here, particularly if you could then only realistically expect to export to non-EU countries (because I can't imagine for one moment that we'll be able to produce them any cheaper than factories within the EU after EU import tariffs have been applied; as an aside, 56% of UK manufactured car exports went to EU countries in 2016).  We manufacture about 11% of the car components that the Germans do, so there would likely be import tariffs imposed while getting those to manufacturers in the UK - all adding to the cost.  In short, if I did most of my trade within the EU, there would be plenty of places I would look to invest before I considered investing in the UK.
Report brassneck • July 30, 2018 10:49 PM BST
