There used to be something on in the early hours I watched.
Was about Greenpeace tailing Japanese whaling boats. Whale Wars. haven't seen it for quite a while. Commercial whaling under the guise of scientific experiments. |

Bonanza was a BIG family favourite on a Sunday avo. Wasn't so keen on Little House On The Prairy, tho. Lol, I had a mate at school in Singapore, Littlehales was his name - Australian. "Littlehales is a fairy" is a call he will never forget. |

It's remarkable that nearly all the popular shows are American.
While we've pumped billions into the BBC that seems to produce dross in comparison, with only the odd programme or two of note. Which is to be expected from a company that isn't answerable to its audience for support. And a shocking state of affairs where the customer doesn't matter. |

The beeb has cancelled the Daily Politics and This week and is replacing them with new shows apparently more targetted to a "younger audience". Give me strength.
Tommorow is the last show. These two shows are two of the only shows worth watching on the BBC as they aren't dumbed down left wing crap. Can we look forward to someone reading out twitter and instagram messages (to get down with the social media kidz) and then an ethnically diverse hipster group "rapping" about austerity and how great the EU and Corbyn are, then a Frankie Boyle socialist "comedy" slot? ... |

Mrs Brown's Boys is popular. We also get to cherry pick the "best" American shows. How many billions do US channels pump into tv programming? Is there a complete absence of dross? |

BBC's Who do you think you are seem terribly upset that a terrorist vaguely related to Boy George caught in the act red handed with weapons, as part of a gang trying to KILL policeman, was then executed for it. Seems a bit "can dish it out but can't take it" imho.
Give it a couple decades, they'll be getting guys on to fulfill their diversity quota all sad about how IS ----s were treated... |

The BBC has agreed to pay Sir Cliff Richard £850,000 towards his legal costs within 14 days, following his privacy case against the corporation.
A judge ruled the BBC infringed the singer's privacy in its reporting of a police raid on his home in 2014, awarding him £210,000 in damages. Sir Cliff was never arrested or charged as part of the investigation. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-44963548 'The singer's privacy'??? These lawyers must be bloody fantastic to a) run up a £850k bill and b) get their client 210 bags on such a flimsy charge. I've no time for the BBC but if Plod tipped them off about someone as famous as Cliff facing an investigation, shouldn't they go in? I find it all a bit odd. |
