SECURITY WISE does this now mean that anyone can fly a Zeppelin type thing over London ? These things could be filled with anything
I am not an expert on gasses but it sounds dodgy to me Plain

If I were a member of a terror Group planning an attack to kill thousands by spreading a noxious gas/Chemical I know what route I would be going down , Has Mr Khan a defence plan in place should some Lunatic or religious type Nutter plan such an
attack ?

No doubt should anything like that happen we will declare war on Russia ?

Unbelievable that the mayor has approved this. Very very childish and embarrassing Blush If this is an insight into how Mr Khan thinks then it is very very worrying indeed. It’s pathetic.

When BBC Breakfast showed the report on it yesterday, that vile thing Nagarhh was sitting there laughing her head off.

Sums it all up.

So childish and embarrassing.

How has this ever been allowed?

it is disrespectful to a POTUS - however big a clown he is. but the blimp does sum up Trump perfectly.

Exactly lfc1971, I wonder how many people around the world will regard the British as little more than spiteful little children after seeing that?
They'll take the view that if the government allow it, then they must condone it.

The rest of the world doesn't really like Trump, so will not think less of you because of this, and people living in free democratic countries will not think it's organised by your government. Trump himself might not be as understanding however Laugh

That’s true dr crippen , how a country is viewed by others can change surprisingly quickly
well we have only to look at London to realise that

Made me laugh when they said he was avoiding London so he wouldn't be exposed to the protests. Given the thousands of reporters attending along with their cameras, not forgetting the internet and social media, he should get the message even if it's not on FOX. Laugh

This won't be a state visit by Trump don't forget.
We've invited him to make a state visit but it's not yet been arranged.

How the UK is regarded by other countries has got to be a matter of deep concern for the British.
And with London already taken over by certain elements we will continue to lose credibility with the rest of the world.
The UK is becoming a laughing stock because we've allowed people like little Khan to gain power.

This ludicrous and irresponsible indulgence shames Britain, and be in no doubt it's an utterly deliberate act.

It's clear that Khan has no serious connection with Britain, our heritage and our allies. There's a surprise.

We can only begin to wonder what our friends across the Atlantic make of it all.

Hopefully they will join the dots and realise that this truly cringeworthy stunt is always a potential outcome of having people who follow Peace-Loving Religions in influential positions.

I think that the decision to fly a blimp to protest at Trumps visit should have been subject to a national referendum .
I'm not exactly sure that it is legally or morally right for this protest to be allowed without clarity as to whether or not this protest is the will of the majority .
A caller to LBC claimed last night that "Trump should be made aware that WE the British people don't agree with his policies" . What gave him or anyone else the right to speak on behalf of the entire UK population ? The assumption that the entire country was behind this protest was not once questioned by the presenter who gave the impression throughout that he supported this stunt .

Its not representative of the nation.
Its representative of those putting it up.
If you dont agree, put your own up worshiping the one that worships money.

Well whoever is getting the arse on over it.
This is the thing 'you' wanted, the freedom of expression.
Those who dont like it have to suck it up cos silencing expression isnt freedom is it?

fair point , Dusty .
So what do these protesters want ? Would they be happier if they had an opportunity to vote in the next presidential election ? At least they would get the chance to register their disapproval at the ballot box , the very essence of democracy .

Since when have the actions of those elected ever really represented the will of the majorit from either country?

I suspect its as much a message to our own 'leaders' that they are prepared to humiliate them for entertaining such people.
There are seldom few opportunities to effect the direction or choices made by those making other peoples' decisions.
This is a creative one and tickled me.

Can't do much about them, they're always with us.
What we shouldn't do is elect people who take advantage of these types by giving them rope to express themselves in ways like this.

Little Khan has shown here that he's not fit for high office.

what an earth are you on about Crippen?

Somebody asked permission to fly a balloon. You are blaming Khan for what? Explain why Khan is not fit for office because he gave someone permission to fly a balloon?

So what about Air traffic Control and the Police? Are they not fit for office?

You really are a strange man!
