For me, most food items that have a brand and a coloured box tell me it stays on the shelf.

This is an insteresting piece.

Supermaket home brands taking market share.
I always knew this to be the case but for different reasons.
My parents shop at the same shop I do, yet I receive vouchers regularly and they never do.
We spend roughly the same and they couldnt understand why.
Until I realised that the things I buy arnt branded, while what they do generally is.

Who does the supermarket really want?
Brands are dead imo
Marketing is the act of trickery.
Only manipulated people fall for it
Yes I say this to my parents

I also find on the things that are in boxes that the branded versions are regularly much higher in salt, fat or sugar
Its the drug used to further the deceit and get you hooked
just as cocaine used to be.

A more meaningful study would be a survey of 100 shoplifters who don't base their decision on price.

Theres no 'art' in the mass production of food and drink.
If you take out the easily used manipulators like added fat, salt or sugar what do you have?
The same thing.
