The two children of a celebrity mother have been placed in foster care by social services after a member of the public claimed they saw her assaulting her child in public.
The famous mother, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is said to have been neglecting her children to lead a glamorous lifestyle leaving her infant children to fend for themselves in her £1million home.
A judge is believed to have placed the children in the care of another family close to the home.

A source told the Sun: 'She has been struggling to cope recently
'They are lovely kids, very well mannered.
'But she won't give up her celebrity life to concentrate properly on them and things have all got a bit too much.'
'Social services got involved after she was accused of pulling her son's hair.
'Then further problems came to light.'
It is believed the face, a regular on TV, is distraught at losing her children.
A spokesman for the local authority which is handling the case told the Sun: 'We cannot and would not comment on care proceedings.'

Clarification of the term 'celebrity' is required - bearing in mind anybody who has their private woes splashed all over the tabloids or spends more than half an hour in the Big Brother house is , by very definition , a 'celebrity' .

It's amazing the shouting and condemning heard when the Americans took kids away from illegal immigrants in order to lock them up.
Yet here they take kids away from their parents everyday and regard it as perfectly acceptable. |

What can be worse for a child, than to be taken away from their parents and put into care and be exposed to the wrongdoings that go on in those places?
This should only happen in extreme circumstances where real abuse is present. The local authorities that do this at the slightest excuse should have there powers stripped right back. They pursue trivial mistreatment like it were murder, then miss blindingly obvious mistreatment like in the case of baby P. They're not fit for purpose. |

dr crippen is correct. However, they are very likely to have gone to foster parents. There are emergency foster parents as well.

Easy to blame social workers as in the Asian abusers scandal in say Rotherham for example, there are many more to choose from.
Easy to blame the police too. They were and are all scared for their jobs, really scared, the fear is real. So who do we blame. Who is behind this fear, who makes them afraid. They always escape scott free. |

I'm glad I'm not the offspring of any celebrity mother in history. Imo a good Mum is there all the time and I just can't see how celebrities can do that.
