Water molecules are sticky.  That's why when you pour it you get a solid stream as opposed to a spray.

Another rant from me , we’ve had a water leak on the main road for 9 days now (not a trickle) water coming up 2 feet from the ground tarmac disappearing by the minute , yesterday I got a text from Severn Trent saying due to heavy use the pressure on my taps is well down ,could you please try and save it CryCry got loads of pics don’t know how to post em Crazy
